Treat them with kindness and compasion. Instead of nurvosness which we all experience. Treat your crush with the love you would treat a lost puppy looking for a home. Or better yet treat your crush the way you would treat your best friend if they were so depressed they felt they couldn't go on. You would do anything to chear that friend up, to get them to be happy again. So treat that crush the same way you would treat your best friend if they wanted to end it all and you were the only person who could stop it. I think if you showed that much love and kindness to your crush that person would become your boyfriend. How could any man resist that.

Nothing worse than having strong feelings for a person you don't really know very well and thinking you can't have them. it sucks so bad, I have to say I really avoid and ignore them for my own emotional, mental sake.

The problem is the last three crushes I had where to: two married women and one with a long term boyfreind she really loved. I tried being just freinds but it was torture. No way I can go through that again, lol. its torture, not good for me. Actually I am in that phase where I am no longer looking for a partner. 3 bad crushes in a row in two years took its toll. I had no control over it.

I am not going to be a bitter and sour guy to people, I still try to be nice and friendly to everyone but for now I am going to give-up on starting a relationship. I know it hurts my chances by turning a blind eye on on potential mates, but I need a break, a long break.

Yeah, failure throws a curve ball at you (been there, done that). But that does not mean you can just stay on the fence and play it safe. With no risk comes no reward. And being bitter or overly protective does you absolutely no good.

Lolz! This reminds me of my situation. I'm into two women (yes, two at once) and they both have boyfriends. It's kinda like hell, although sometimes it's good. When I'm having a bad day, if one of them walks near me I get the crush "symptoms" (shaky legs, warm and tingly all over) and that makes my day. One of them gives me a hug every time I see her. That makes me happy yet conflicted.
