I usually just think of my friend's mom, lol. His parents are both lawyers and have their own firm. His dad's casual persona is very close to his court persona. His mom on the other hand is two different people in and out of court. She's a no-nonsense badass on the job and she's great at what she does, but outside of work she's a huge sweetheart. She represented me in court once when I was falsely accused of theft, and she was awesome. She didn't charge me either, but I did things for them around the house for a while because I was broke but didn't feel right not paying, since she helped me out.

I worked for one. Surprisingly she wasn't a bitch. A little arrogant, but she approved of me, so it was okay. Probably, the reason she gained clout so fast was because she wasn't a stereotypical power bitch. The guy lawyer was CRAZY! Lol I think know their jobs are tedious and detail orientated. It takes a special person to do that job, be good at it, and be nice. I've seen it so it is possible. Are you becoming a lawyer?

Erm, I'm thinking about it. I'm stuck between wanting to pursue Law or switching to primary education. Both are good options. I just can't seem to make my mind up.

If you go for a Lawyer. You can always teach law in college. I know here in the states they are laying off teachers left and right. Hope that helps.

I live in England...not the states. I know I could do Law for a few years and then do a teaching course but idk. I'm still trying to make my mind up on what to go for.

There are bitchy, power-hungry female lawyers and there are female lawyers who are very sweet and whose main intention is helping people. I met both varieties at my uncle's law firm.

I think they can be pretty awesome when they stick their minds to it. If you watched the Casey Anthony Murder trial, the prosecution had a pretty sexy female lawyer on their team. She was phenomenal. So yeah girl lawyers = awesome IMHO.

I prefer women lawyers. I have used many lawyers over my career and women are better in my humble opinion. If for only one reason. Women by nature are more protective and they will do what ever it takes to protect thiers. Men I have found are more worried about billing their hours. Not picking it's just what I have been through and feel...

In regards to female laywers for relationship potential, I'd probably stay away from them.

They make a lot of money (of course), so they don't need any financial support. Taking them out on dates and trying to pay for them is a joke in itself.

It all depends on the girl, though. She could be a nice lawyer who wants to help people, and would stay feminine to all the guys she encounters, or the mean b*tch who trips on her own power and tries to control everything.

They tend to come off as being more strong mentally and they definitely don't have a problem telling someone how it is, but that's how you would expect a female lawyer to act. That's not how all of them are, I'm sure a lot of them are one person in the courtroom and a completely different person outside. I don't have a problem with them. They worked hard to get where they're at and they have to work hard to succeed at what they're doing so more power to them.

I never trust a lawyer. Don't matter what sex they are. Lawyers always start out with the thought that they are doing there job to help people. Any lawyer that's been around for more than a few years knows that they will never survive as a lawyer doing that.
