No , if he is really really into you and he's not super shy , you'll know yes . But in a lot of cases you'll just be both guessing and guessing .
When you ask him directly and he doesn't give a clear answer that could mean that he does like you but is overwhelmed / didn't tought you liked him / fears you're joking /...
on the other side , when he dislikes your looks he will probably give a clear answer ( but not the one you want :p ) or he could be nice and give an unclear one

No. I bet the world is full of people who 'know' they're loved and special and the only one... while they're actually being cheated on. Also the opposite; sometimes insecurity is just that: insecurity.
I think this is a nice example link of uncertainty where none is warranted.
I don't think it is as clear cut as all that unfortunately. I think if its a guy with confidence that absolutely you'll know it so if this is a guy who has a history of going after the girl he wants and not making any secret about it then you can apply this to him. however if he's not that type of guy then this doesn't really apply.

I don't really know if its true or false when a boy or a girl does that , but I came to the conclusion that I will just see what the girl shows to me and if its a yes OK , if its a no OK again .. If its a maybe I don't know I take it for a no and leave and with that I will probably keep my sanity a while longer .
