Okaay.. Girls wear clothes to feel good about themselves right? But in the morning when I get dressed I look in the mirror and think;
"If I was someone else would I like my outfit?"-casual outfit you know, skinny jeans nice top w/e
But I think this guy is right, ALL girls subconsciously will wear something short because they know that they will attract attention-especially hot girls who know they are attractive. Even girls who are self conscious, we wear nice clothes to look good for ourselves but also for other, even if it is guys. Some want girls to be jealous of them, some want guys to want them and some just are wearing a short skirt because its hot. But Yeah I think that a bit of what we wear is influenced by what people think.
On night out would you wear a short dress or a polo-neck and long jeans?--exactly.
And why? Because you wanna look hot, for you, guys, girls.. Everyone :) x

Others do it for confidence reasons - who doesn't want to feel desirable from time to time? Sometimes we like to look nice, and appealing to the opposite sex without it leading anywhere; they like to know that guys are looking at them; but it doesn't mean they want it to lead to anything more than look.
A lot of people do it for fashion reasons too; on lots of figures a mini skirt looks good - and we like to look good -for ourselves - and not always for attention.
I don't wear miniskirts because it gets bad attention, but if I did, it would be to attract attention to my long legs from guys...definitely! What's the use of wearing a short skirt if you're not gonna show off your legs. :s
Plus, it's like high heels, tight shirts, cleavage...etc, it makes us feel sexay... :O

for me as a guy, girls wear mini skirts indirectly attracts sex and attention. whether or not it's necessary or unnecessary attention, it's still attention. yeah girls will say they want to feel "confident" but sadly the fact is, it's inconvenient, gets wrong attention at times, and higher chance of being preyed on.

well girls who wears them expect sex from guys. guys think about sex when we see girls wear in unless she's just pure ugly. we'll love to put our hands up their skirt and pull down their panties. it's just natural. so girls, if you wan to wear a sign saying "f*** me" then wear them.

Oh man! Just saw the updates. Okay..which one of you ladies spilled the beans?! There are RULES in the Secret Female Society to not let guys in on it that every single thing we do, is solely for the purpose of pleasing men! Grrr...now that theyre unto us, we have to eradicate them. *sigh*
I like my legs. It's simple. I wear skirts because I like how I look in them. It's the same reason I also wear skinny jeans and cool tights under skirts and dresses: Because I like how my legs look in them. To hell with what anyone else thinks. I don't feel like I need to impress anyone but myself. I'm more interested in making myself into an art piece than a sex object.
When I was single and heading out with friends for the night, I might wear a short skirt as part of my outfit to catch eyes... But then, guys hit on girls no matter what they are wearing...so its not like I'm thinking..Im gonna wear this skirt cause I wanna get hit on.
When it comes to everyday casual wear...if I wear a short skirt, its cause I'm I'm in the mood to wear it..the only time I really have a motive behind what I'm wearing is if its particularly cold or hot out.

Well when I wear miniskirts I do it to show off the legs that I worked my ass off to get. I don't want guys to hit on me. It just makes me feel confident to know that I can look good in a skirt.
i'll only wear it if I'm with my boyfriend, that is if I had one lol. of course a girl is going to get hit on if she wears one.

*bleh* I hate mini skirts, I'd rather wear a pair of fitted jeans that show-off my booty and other features rather than have my ass hanging out from under a strip of cloth some people call a skirt.
because we want to. when I wear a skirt its because I like it and it suits the rest of my outfit. its nothing whatsoever to do with the guy I like who lives down the road.
If you have nice legs, why not wear a skirt and show them off? In the summer, skirts are cooler for your legs. Also, it's just something different to wear. I like a diverse wardrobe.
