What are the odds of attractive girls saying yes to a moderately attractive guy for a date?

I'm a reasonably attractive guy I think, I just have a hard time asking out girls. What are realistic odds like out of like 10 girls, how many would say yes, do you think to a guy like myself? I'm probably a 7 or 8. I could look a lot worse. Plus I'm a really nice guy. I know this is kind of a hard question to answer, but what sounds right given this info?

from what I've heard... a lot of pretty girls are actually single for the exact reason of guys being too scared to ask them out etc... I say go for it... after all... you have nothing to lose and can only gain, especially confidence... which is a total bonus! just shoot :)

What if I ask out older women? I'm in my early 20s, but how about a woman closer to 25?

What is age? really... We stop growing mentally at twenty... the only thing that ages is our physical bodies... Besides... 20-25 is only 5 years difference... that's nothing :)

that's different for every girl... some prefer to be younger than a guy... some prefer to be older... some really couldn't care less... Just go for it... you've got nothing to lose really...

There's no reason why they wouldn't. Maybe if they were a ten and you were an eight, and they thought they could find a ten with just as good a personality as you. But I don't think anyone's a ten, so.

That's a good point. Nobody is perfect. But at the same time someone can be super hot and I'd just call her a 10 anyway lol. What is a good personality to you?

Most important with a personality, is it CAN'T be awkward. I've spoken to a couple of guys where after everything I said, they just didn't get it haha. And then with other guys, they get it right away and can continue the conversation, instead of awkardly saying "what?" 2. They don't have to be a comedian, but they should have some sense of humor and not take everything so seriously. 3. Be able to express himself, not all sappy .. But just basic feelings/opinions aha.

Aside from the awkwardness of meeting a new person, and trying to create a conversation on the spot, I'm usually good at all of that. Sometimes for whatever reason though, there are times when you just don't come off the way you want to, know what I mean? It's happened to me before and it's a little embarrassing :/

I'm sure you could get most of them, really depends on personality and if you connect with them.

Honestly, you'd be surprised it's usually the complete opposite.. guys tend to not even consider highly attractive women because they assume just that. You never know for sure unless you ask.. SO DO IT. (:

Wow I'm surprised by the 90%. But yes the question is hard to answer. It's not exactly a mathematical matter where the outcomes can be predicted or determined.
