Do guys avoid girls they like/attracted to?

Hey guys :)

So I know there are probably a lot people who have asked this question, but I really want an exact response to my personal situation :

So there's this guy I've liked for a while, and I finally decided to "poke" him on Facebook and he poked me back (I know what you're gonna say, a "poke" means nothing), but if he did that I mean I think he's at least a teeny tiny interested in me, but every time I see him at school he totally avoids me, and last time he was at the school library, and I went over to say a quick hi, and he left like 5mn later as if he didn't want to be around me, I mean it's not like I'm a freak or something, I'm definitely not bad-looking at all, but I don't know what's up with this guy, because a lot of my friends say he's a very outgoing person, and not shy at all, but around me he's very weird...

It happens because if he's not a popular guy or anything, it can be scary to face the girl you like. It happens for me sometimes. They tend to avoid you here and there if they don't know that you like them. If they know, then they shouldn't avoid you as much. It's hard to say really.

He's actually pretty popular and he has a lot of girl friends so it's not like he's never around girls, I'm more of a normal girl, but the thing is he's friendly with absolutley EVERYONE, but around me he really looks awkward, and uncomfortable, and yeah he knows that I think he's cute, so weird, weird, weird...

In that case he might just need some time. Here's what can happen, some people, guys or girls, avoid the opposite gender they DON'T like. It's possible that he sees you as awkward. That happened to me before with a girl. I am friendly with everyone, but I was being such a fool with this girl, but that's when I was young. She would completely avoid me. She is as well friendly with a lot of people. Let's say if I were to poke her on Facebook, she might poke me back too, but no way she will like me

There's this lady in my class. I believe she's 40 or older. She smiles at me a lot as in she probably finds me attractive. I avoid her as much as possible. But the thing is she is in my group for a project. I find it difficult to look at her in the eye sometimes. But I just have to because we have to work on this project. I am only 21 lol, so pretty awkward believe me. She slightly tried flirting with me before too, that was the turning point.

Oh he knows hahah, I chatted him up, and he was like do we know each other ? And I said, not really we're in the same school, and I just think you're cute :), and he said : Hahah OK, well I'm at a party right now so I can't really talk but if we see each other at school we'll definatley talk :), I don't get it, if you say we should talk then stop avoiding me WEIRDOOOOO ! hahah

just because he poked you doesn't mean he likes you. if he liked you that much he'd try to talk to you if you were being friendly.

I'm not saying he likes me, but if he poked me back, I at least think that he found me attractive or something, I mean if a random dude does that to me and I don't really care to talk to him I would not poke him back that's for sure

Yes I do if I think or believe, the girl is out of my league I avoid her. Why bother wasting my time if

1.) She's gonna say no and 2.) Just gonna laugh in my face.

Yeah but I was the one to make the first move, and I don't think he thinks that I'm out of his league, although I'm a senior and he's a junior (in high-school), so maybe that age difference might make him a little nervous, I mean if I was a Junior and a Senior would be into me I'd go nuts hahah

No you didn't insult me, just saying some guys don't want to hear some girl bragging about some guy she finds attractive. Its like a slap in the face. Believe me if you saw me, your would puke your eyes out and run in the other direction.

Oh come on that's so not true, nobody's perfect, everyone has their own flaws, I once fell in love with this guy who evryone thought he was so ugly (just because he was fat), and he ended up dumping me, that's an awful thing to say about yourself, pull yourself together and start dating ! It won't help if you're just sitting there in front of your computer ! Go get em tiger ;) !

Okay you tried once it failed, I tried at least 10 times and it failed 5 times out of ten, it happens to everyone ! The more you try, the easier it'll get, and there'll be a lot of positive feedback trust me, I've been through what you're going though
