I once read an autobiography of a New Yorker and he gave details of how he once was on a packed train and there was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen, and she was being basically shoved by the crowd toward where he was standing and along the ride on this UBER packed train she ended up facing away from him while he was leaning on the door[ even though it says* do not lean on door *! lol] but with her bottom towards his B===D . And she had a skirt on and he says that she must have felt his attraction towards her bcoz she began to press against him and so..he just ADJUSTED HIS PANTS* and she ADJUSTED HER SKIRT and enjoyed the train ride if you know what I MEAN slowly and secretively until it was over! LOL.
And GET THIS! He said that he never saw he AGAIN! they talked after both getting off at the same stop, but since he was Latino and she was White, she said there was NO WAY [ it was the 60's or 70's I think ] that her parents would NEVER EVER accept him. And that was it.
I believe it too! I'm sure he's isn't the only one to experience that on the train. Lol, but wow, what an experience huh?
The book is called Down These Mean Streets by Piri Thomas, it's definitely a good read if you love NYC or are a NYCer

Yeah I live in NYC, and it seems like when I sit or stand somewhere a guy that's into my type, will stand in front of me or somewhere where he can have a view of me and stare from close or from afar. It's really annoying sometimes. Or sitting they will be reading the newspaper, and look up and see me and once I see him fold the newspaper and pretend to enjoy the ads above me..cmon. lol so obvious man. Some guys will lean on the pole in the center of the train and you are by the door, and they will just directly stare and give you ELEVATOR EYES! smh..happens all the time I witness others going thorugh that , and myself have experience so...
I don't sit near guys I think are attractive. I just might see them and that's it. The most I'll do is look when the train is pulling off and they got off, I'll look as they walk when we are pulling off, lmao! You know you do it too! lol
I hope not, not a lot of people come sit next to me :')
I don't really care where I sit, as long as I can sit when there's room. I don't go sit with people who have a lot of luggage with them, because that just gets in the way. Or people who are loud and annoying...
Well, I use the subway in New York City a lot when I visit, and I noticed that a lot of pretty, or average black girls sit or stand next to me. All other girls seem to be afraid, or disgusted by me. Once, I was taking a video of a train at Broadway Junction, and two nice-looking black girls approached me, and stood literally 3 or 4 feet away from me. Once the train arrived, they said "Nice camera" in a flirty way, and got on the train. I continued recording with my camera.

I tend to avoid sitting next to people I find attractive just because I'll be like "oh my god, they must think I'm completely desperate and trying to hit on them" - if there's someone very attractive who catches my eye in a situation like that I consciously don't sit near them; unless obviously it's the only seat available.
I sit next to the people I think would be the safest choice, lol I try to avoid all the creeps and if there's a cute guy I can sit next to that's a plus haha. :)
Nope, no subways around here. But if I go on one in NYC, I sit next to friends or family.
No ha ha I don't have to be attracted to sit next to someone.
I thought we girls overthink things but you def beat us :Dhmmm good question, mmm maybe don't see you as a threat not necessarily based on attractiveness
Nope I don't even think about it I just want to get to my destination so I just take a seat and do my own thing.
Nope. Unfotunately I find myself sitting next to crack heads and hobos.
Strange people sit next to you in the subway. People who like you sit close enough to see you and then write about you on missed connections hoping you will read it.
I wouldn't read to much into it, unless they talk to you.
I hope that is not the case lol...The bus could be packed with one seat next to me and people subconsiously don't sit next ot me lol...
nope.. just sit wherever there's a seat haha..
Lol, I don't think so.
i doubt it
