Why doesn't my ex boyfriend unfriend me from Facebook? If he's ignoring me & playing games

he promises he won't hurt me ever again by avoiding me but still does it. I didn't hear from him for 4 months and he comes out of nowhere asking for me to get back together. he says he's crazy about me but doesn't even act like it. doesn't even initiate contact with me and is expecting me to do everything. I really think he's just stringing me along. He wished me a happy birthday 2 weeks ago but that can be a game. I have a feeling deep down he's a player anyways. so I'm thinking to really back off, ignore him, and possibly remove him from fb for good. why should I keep him on to see my online life when he can't even be in my life. he makes promises he can't keep. I can never trust him again.

best is to show him he's lost me for good and ignore him!

My opinion...He is stringing you along, he probably has some feelings left for you but he's not really paying attention to them,and when he does that's when he contacts you. If a guy wants to date you he will make it happen,not lead you around. He probably hasn't unfriended you from Facebook because he does want to be friends,could probably keep an eye on you, if you guys are still friends he can still try to date you. There's a long list of reasons of why he still has you on Facebook but we'll never know that. Do what you think is right,save your heart and stay in touch with your thoughts.

thanks it does help. we don't want to hate each other we still want to be friends. I suggested that & he agrees. I told him this is so confusing. he might try to still get with me not sure but I need to ignore him back like he did. he needs to see my silence mean pain. I really hope I do find a new love who will treat me so much better. His best friend who is engaged talks to me sometimes & never ignores me. I think my ex talks to him about me & his bff is looking out for me for him. its weird.

Just ignore him and never talk him back, he maybe wants you but there are reasons for that, like sex or to walk you around like a trophy. The best way to make him leave you alone is: find a new boyfriend or just a friend who will act your boyfriend, it should work. When he know you got new man in your life he will probably let it go.

i was thinking about that too its just if I pretend to have a boyfriend I feel like I'm lying to myself. I hope I do find new love. I will ignore him at least for a bit because its like he is confused too & doesn't know what he wants & I don't want to get hurt. same time he could be trying to use me & he knows I'm not having sex with him. he said he's crazy about me but doesn't act like it.
