Is it a bad sign when your crush puts you on limited profile?

I know I shouldn't read too much into Facebook. But I was so sure he was interested, so I added him and now I feel like he thinks I'm a stalker. What's the point of accepting a friend if they can't interact with you any more than a non-friend anyway? I don't understand. :(

But I would think that it's not good if your crush puts you on a limited profile (again, I would seriously like to know how you know that) or he has something to hide - perhaps pictures of him with other girls (?)

So yeah, either he likes you or dislikes you :) So you'll have to confront him about it

I didn't get a notification or anything, but I assume I'm on limited because I can't see anything but his profile picture and the date he joined Facebook, and he's definitely on my friends list. I don't know. He seems really keen in real life so maybe he's playing games. Hell, for all I know maybe he wanted to get this reaction out of me!

If he's getting freaked out, and assuming you aren't really being creepy in some way, then he doesn't seem to be that interested...

Yeah that's what I find so weird. If I was freaked out by a friend request I'd just quietly ignore it or at least let it sit for a while so that they'd get the message. I'm not creepy, I've just not had anyone put me on limited before, that I'm aware of. It sure does make me feel like a creep though!

He shouldn't feel like you're a stalker..it was just a casual friend request right? Besides, putting you on a limited profile may just mean he's hiding something from you. Don't even sweat him, he's not worth it

Yeah, you may be right. It was just a friend request. We have lots of friends in common so I was coming across him frequently - it's not like I looked him up in the phone directory and searched his name! I suppose it's still a bit strange. In my case, if it's too private to share with my friends then I just don't post it. I thought limited profile was for people you were on a break from, like exes and stuff.

Guys will do this so that you can't **** block him. Most single guys are playing the field just like women do. Having a girl post flirty stuff on your page may turn off other girls he is dating.

Ah right. I don't play the field so I wouldn't know about that. I can still post on his wall, but I can't see anything on it. It's weird because he accepted my request within the hour, so if he's not keen then he's sending the wrong message! Gee, I'm such an idiot. Now he can totally stalk my page whilst being invisible to me.

If you can't see his stream. Maybe he is into you and doesn't want to turn you off(by you seeing posts from other girls). Facebook is tricky when dating.

Yes, that is a good point. I actually hid a few embarrassing photos and things like that on my profile before I sent him the request. He seems very private in general so maybe I'm just taking it too personally. You're right that Facebook makes things complicated though.
