Asking a girl out over the phone vs in person

I really want to ask out tho girl but I kinda freak out about it when I'm talking to her in person and she usually isn't alone for me to ask her so I want to do it over the phone (call not text). I just don't want to text her it cause I feel like its lame and I was told by girls that its a turnoff and makes you look like a p****. What's your opinion on me doing it over the phone?

That is really something you should always say in person. If it helps, talk to her on the phone for a while to get used to talking to her.

Maybe call her just to chat about something you both like, and if you think she is enjoying it (offering her own stuff to the conversation instead of just short "mhm." "uhuh"s) then ask if you can call her again. (Or Skype call, but don't ask her out over Skype either)

That way, you will be sure she likes you back, and if she does like you, she will be looking forward greatly to that phone call every other night or so. :-)

I've heard from a good source that she is interested in me, still doesn't make me any less nervous tho :/

Mmkay, well talking on the phone is one way that could help you be less nervous. I know my boyfriend was WICKED shy, and he could hardly talk to me in person. So he called me on the phone instead, and after a week or so, he was actually able to speak to me in person. Just make sure you have a topic in mind, because otherwise you might forget what you were doing :-)

I'm having exactly the same problem, but I definitely think doing it in person would be you best option.

Ask her out in person but if you can't get her out alone text or call her to set up a private meeting then ask her out then. Maybe that will help.
