Girls, why do you always double take me?

I'm probably not the most attractive guy, in fact I am for sure not, physically speaking. But I make up for it with a good fashion sense(at least I think so) good height, hair and reasonably fit.

This question is ONLY about seeing a girl for the first-time.

Sometimes when I make eye contact with a girl in passing, say she's sitting on a park bench and I'm walking by, we'd always look at each other and after a second she'd look away. Normally with girls I've "been" with we always hold our eye contact, I approach, and... yeah. Meeting new girls is different though.

When she looks away, I hold my stare to see if she'd look back since some women look back to confirm "Omg, that guy is still looking at me, he likes me" but new women in passing rarely do.

Here's the funny part. I've noticed that every time, 100%, as I walk past by a girl, any girl, as in she is literally facing my side a few feet away, I can just see in my peripherals her tilting her head to get a look at me. WTF? Is that disappointment I didn't approach? Or, I don't know haha.

Seriously, what the hell girls? You've got me confused!

could be a ton of reasons dude...yeah sure, they could think you're cute. But they could also be thinking " ha ha man, that guy has NO ass..." ( just an example...please don't comment back about you having an ass...)
