What is life like for a beautiful woman?

for Ladies, if you're attractive, this question is for you. What is your daily life like as a beautiful woman? Are you hated? Or do you fit in? As a nerdy 23 year old male, who is average looking at best. I find trying to date a beautiful woman is very exhausting. You're nice to look at from afar, but it would take a monumental effort to get one to find me attractive. Attractive women are very difficult to attract in my opinion. I imagine that guys hit on you everyday. That would make me feel very insecure. Please don't take any offense to this, but I wouldn't date you because I wouldn't be able to trust an attractive woman no matter how nice she is.. you have a lot of options and I would always wonder when you're not around me if you're cheating on me. That would take it's toll on me.

In your own words, what is it like being an attractive woman? What your life like? Is your beauty a gift or curse?

I used to be fat. I had glasses, my face was round, and I had bad teeth. I got no attention from boys that were even remotely attractive. I felt horrible about myself because I knew I was ugly. I starved myself, and I was so embarrassed of myself that I held myself from showing off my talents (art, music) and even talking to people because I thought no one would care because of my appearance.

I lost 40 pounds. I started to wear some makeup, fixed my teeth, got contact lenses, and my face thinned out. Now I am what most would consider beautiful, and I know it; however, I will always have horrible self-esteem (I know, stupid me). People have asked me if I wanted to model because of my exotic and lovely facial features and bodily proportions (large bust and hip and very small waist). I got attention from many guys, and now I have a long-term and wonderful boyfriend. Life is better even though I am harassed by men sometimes. I get honked at, cat-called, and creepily messaged on social networks.

The thing is, when you are beautiful, EVERYONE is nicer to you. People hold doors for me more, people want to know what I have to say, people appreciate my talents more, and people want to be my friend. Respectful men also are attracted to me more. The wolf-whistling and cat-calling and being stalked by creepy men does not bother me now that my quality of life has improved because of my looks - I have the confidence to do things that I have never done before, I got a great boyfriend, and I can stand looking at myself in the mirror. It is a shame that the world treats people who are attractive so much better. Sometimes people do not believe that I am intelligent at all because of that dumb stereotype of pretty women being dopey, but that is the worst outcome of my "transformation."

I would not revert back to being ugly in order to avoid the creepy and disrespectful men. My boyfriend deals with the fact that I am often hit on. He trusts me not to act on anyone's flirting with me. Trust is an essential part of a relationship.

A lot of beautiful women were ugly ducklings like me. Many of them do not have great self-esteem. Many would not cheat on their partner. Many are quite trustworthy. You should not generalize all beautiful women.

I don't know what it's like to be supermodel real-life Photoshop picture perfect hot beautiful, but I think it's just annoying to be a girl with looks that aren't average or below average.

It's annoying, because guys hit on you all the time, and the attention really isn't flattering. it's annoying. It's like, stop asking me questions, or trying to get to know me, or even saying hi to me. I'm not going to have sex with you. Don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those anti-sex girls. I have no problem having sex, just not with every guy who hits on me. If I'm attracted to a guy, I'll strait up walk up to him and start talking. I know I'm not the best looking girl in the world, but I also know I'm not ugly. So, if I'm not talking to a guy on my own - by my own initiative - it's because I'm not interested in that guy.

Basically, imagine having your Facebook and other social media, and email, and phone, cluttered and spammed with e-mails from ugly or average girls who just want to have sex with you - girls you're really not the least bit sexually interested in or crazy about. In fact, you can't even force yourself to imagine the possibility of potentially having sex with them. And in real life, they just come at you like flies hovering around fresh poop. You would just want to hide in your house all day, or walk around with a group of guys and form a wall to fend off girls from walking up to you and trying to hook up with you.

I am attractive to some people. Not attractive to others. But here's my opinion...

For ladies who believe theyre beautiful, regardless of society's general expectations, I can imagine they have a wonderful life. Regardless of how often they get hit on, they are happy with their true, natural selves. And when they get hit on, that could often be the reason.

I get hit on maybe once a month, and even then it's not a guy who actually wants to get to know me, its just someone who wants to get in my pants, which can happen even to ugly women. I find that the frequency of getting hit on doesn't necessarily correlate with how attractive YOU as a person are, but how attractive your "style" is...or how much skin you're showing...I tend to get hit on mostly/only when I am wearing shorts or showing skin some how...

Anyway in high school a lot of other females hated on me, I don't know if it was because I was "attract[ing]" the men they wanted. I can't imagine any other reason because I never spoke to/about them. I don't know if I'm attractive or not...

all my ex's & current man are attracted to women who I think are just average or ugly (in MY opinion)...or just undeniably smokin hot (no matter what your tastes are)...so that just goes to show everyone has their own tastes and it really doesn't matter if you're attractive or not, but it matters how you carry yourself.

You fail to understand that women who have the body language of "Open" get hit on regardless of beauty. It does not require you to be pretty. Actually you can be pretty ugly as a woman and get away with it. Life ... Anyway!

i think its about someones whole package. I think initially attractive women are naturally going to get more attention and generate a lot of interest but it is mainly for sex or something more infatuation based. to keep a man a woman needs more than just looks because there are a lot of hot girls out there. you need to be that girl he can't stop thinking about, that has a great smile, laugh, sense of humour etc. it doesn't make sense that you wouldn't want to be with someone attractive because you would feel insecure. firstly that's a silly thought. you are undermining yourself and that lack of self confidence is what is going to get you dumped in the first place. if a woman chooses to be with you who is attractive obviously you have something going for you that is just as appealing as her looks but in a different way. so she probably would be thinking the same thing, that if a prettier girl comes along you would leave her. attractive women may have more confidence at first because it is boosted quite frequently however when they fall in love or give their heart to somoene all that goes out the window and they will become just like any other human being..jealous, worried, fear of rejection etc etc. so stop putting attractive women on a pedestal. that kind of attitude will attract what you want.

Blaming attractive women for your trust issues is baffling to me. Just because you've had a few bad experiences with SOME attractive women, it doesn't mean ALL of them are like that. It all boils down to personality. A cheater is a cheater, regardless of looks. Way to judge a book by it's f***ing cover, man.

Anyway. To answer your question, it's very difficult to be considered pretty. I've had girls come up to me, telling me I'm a slut/whore/skank/bitch just because I can fit into size XS-S clothes. Side-eyeing, whispering behind my back... girls are absolutely horrible when they're jealous of someone. A lot of men also treat me like a piece of meat. Hollering, howling, whistling, meowing, staring, making disgusting comments about what they want to do with me - it's repulsive. I couldn't even walk up my own damn staircase that leads to my apartment without having one of my male neighbors make a comment about how "beautiful girls should take the elevator"? What the f***, haha? And it seems like only the creepy guys are "brave" enough to hit on me. It seems like all the normal and fun guys are too intimidated to make a move. They just naturally assume that I'm already taken, or that I have something going on with another guy. I haven't even kissed a guy since I was 12! How sad is that?! I've tried putting myself out there, but the only guys who swallow my bait are the guys who are only in it for the sex. It's exhausting.

However, I would never want to change the way I look. I'm happy with myself, and I shouldn't have to change who I am just because I want to be able to catch a decent guy. But yeah, it does get pretty lonely...

A beautiful girl can cheat on you and an average-looking girl can cheat on you and an ugly girl can cheat on you. Insecurity will get you nowhere, you need to trust your partner. Also stop putting physical beauty on a pedestal, it's not everything.

DUDE! How come you make so many questions about beautiful women? Did you have a bad experience with every beautiful woman you've met?

I'm just curious because I've seen your other posts that it's not worth dating a beautiful woman. You're very insecure. There are so many average women and ugly who are terrible to date. You sound like a guy who hates attractive women just because they're attractive. You probably think that dating an average or ugly woman will mean she is less likely to cheat and she'll be eternally faithful to you. People no matter their looks can be faithful or unfaithful.

You need to stop putting beautiful women on a pedestal and be a bit more optimistic. You need to gain some confidence. Looks aren't everything. You should look at your other qualities besides your looks. Are you funny? Are you proficient in a certain skill? ? I'm sure you have other qualities that can get you a girl on your own level or higher.

I do get hit on a fair bit, but definitely not every day. Mostly I get cat calls from creepy older men or younger boys who try to be hip. I get approached by guys my age at parties and such, but they either kind of hover or get to know my friends without really interacting with me, or focus straight on me then pretty much disappear after they find out I have a boyfriend.

And I agree with the other girls. You're very insecure, also disrespectful to women. You're saying that it's the woman's fault that she's not trustworthy? Her beauty makes her undatable? She's not the one hitting on other men. To say you wouldn't trust a beautiful woman not to cheat on you no matter what kind of person she is... is basically saying all beautiful women are potential sluts. If you really think that you don't deserve to date a beautiful woman.

I feel hated by other women because I am confident, when guys flirt I am very shy and also turn them down right away even if I think he's cute. I have a pretty face but I don't feel like a good person a lot of the time, I have trust issues, I'm lazy... I'm basically like any other person... I don't like when people act instantly attracted before they even talked to me, it's just superficial. This is why I dress down a lot and try to blend in.. I act confident but its more of a defensive thing.
