This guy (stranger but from the same school) always tries to be in my vicinity and gets onto the same train carriage as me everyday. But recently, whenever he does he PURPOSELY tries to me.
If he didn't like me/though I was a creep he wouldn't always try to find ways to be close to me, he would move to another carriage or something, if he didn't care or wasn't interested, he wouldn't make such an effort to make it clear that he was trying to ignore me and not make eye contact.
Like, whenever I look at him he would try look around and act 'tough' and pretend he's looking for something/someone. he was acting really cold, almost as if he hated me. basically, it's clear he tries to purposely ignore me but WHY WOULD HE ALWAYS TRY BE AROUND ME THEN? Previously, he was really confident with making eye contact with me but then he suddenly changed his behavior to this.
Anyway - this and a combination of other signs makes me think he likes me. I approached him and talked to him last week for the first time and his body language gave him away as well.
I want to know why he was doing this?
- likes me but afraid of rejection/doesn't want to get hurt
- playing hard to get?
- ploy to make me come talk to him?
