My boyfriend threatens to spank me, is it normal?

I have been dating my boyfriend since January. We have a great relationship and are very happy together. I'm 20 and he's 25.

One night we went over his best friend's house. Well his best friend has a very prude girlfriend and she drives me crazy. Anyway I ignore her because I know it makes her angry and she deserves it because she purposely tries to annoy me. So that night for some reason she kept trying to talk to me even though she knows I always ignore her. Well now my boyfriend finally noticed and he wasn't happy with my "immaturity." So he pulls me aside and whispers in my ear " You're being a bad girl and when we get home I'm going to bend you over the table and spank you."

Lately whenever I'm a "bad girl" that's his preferred method of punishment. It doesn't hurt or bother me too much. I wasn't spanked as a child so its new to me.

But is this considered weird? Does anyone else do this?

I honestly do not have a problem with it and my boyfriend can do whatever he wants to me.

Its kind of like a little fetish thing. If you don't mind it, wouldn't hurt to let him do it. But if he's doing it because he thinks you like it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to say you don't really care for it

If this is the weirdest thing he does I wouldn't worry. Id say it gets weird when he wants to have sex in public places in hopes you'll get caught in the act. Or include party balloons during sex. That's my "weird" threshold.

It's probably more common than you realize, I don't get the whole spanking thing personally.
