Am I over thinking when a guys goes boop on my nose?

Anonymous
There's this quiet and genuinely nice guy who other girls at work have had a crush on. He talks to everyone at work casually, but he never touches anyone, unless someone approaches him for a hug or something. He doesn't like to be around too many people too often, and likes to stay home. He never calls me by my name, instead he had given me various nicknames when we chat -- such as butter, boo, or bub.

At work, if I walk pass him, he'd lightly tap me on the head with a check or his tray. If I don't pay attention to him he'd wave his hands in front of my face until I look up. At times he gently poke or punches my nose and goes "boop" and then laugh when I make a >_< face.

One time, we hung out just me and him and we both established that we will not date coworkers, but when I brought it up the other day, he seemed shocked that I am not interested.

Sometimes when our group splits and goes home, he'd come up and hold out his arm, but he'd pause when no one else gave hugs, and we would just split. Earlier, he ask what I was doing later, if I was hungry, but I had to be elsewhere so I just left.

Recently, I left my friends house late night and he left at the same time and he gave me this long hug and just held me by waist. He looks at me and smiles. We let go of our hug, but continued to chat for quite a bit. He asked what I was doing now, I said eat and sleep, he hesitated said okay, and we both went to our cars. He got into his first, but he didn't leave, instead he stayed in his car with his lights on. I turned on my car and made he sure he wasn't coming out yet and I drove out. Am I over thinking?
