How do I get him to stop touching me?

There's this guy who's a really good friend of mine. He always flirts with me, but nowadays he keeps touching me, like poking my sides in class, smelling my hair(wtf?!), grabbing my hand out of nowhere, etc. I tell him to stop but he laughs it off, I don't think he takes me seriously. How do I get him to stop? I have a boyfriend, and even though he's my friend I don't want him touching me...

*btw I don't know why I put it in the flirting category, pls don't hate me for that lol*

You stop letting it slide. You make sure you aren't doing anything to encourage him. You stop laughing or being nice about it. Tell him flat out that you don't like it and want him to stop. After that, if he keeps doing it, it is okay to snap. Raise your voice. Tell him to back off. I once totally lost my temper on a guy who just wouldn't stop and just screamed "get you f*cking hands off me". It was loud enough that everyone in the room at a party hear it. I as a bit embarrassed. He went completely red in the face. He never touched me again.

If you can't get him to stop, tell an teacher or supervisor about his behaviour.

If he does it again, report it. NO ONE has the right to touch in a manner that makes you uncomfortable so he's not a friend, he's trying to score. Tell your mother, tell your father, or someone at school. Laughing it off just shows how inconsiderate this jerk is being of your feelings and I fear if you don't SERIOUSLY draw the line, it will escalate. Try not to be alone with him... his behavior is not only rude, it's also aggressive.

When he does it, don't "go along" with it. Get serious. You don't have to be mean, but make sure you show him that it affects you negatively. Make a sincere face and say something like, " No seriously, please stop." Don't give him any room to think that you aren't serious about it.

The next time he does something creepy like that, stop.

Turn and look at him, and with a raised voice, say "I DO NOT LIKE THIS. STOP TOUCHING ME, SMELLING ME, OR GRABBING MY HAND. I DO NOT LIKE YOU. GO AWAY!"

Or something similar. You really gotta make him embarrassed, in front of as many people as you can, so it sinks in to his mind.
