Is a coffee shop a good place to try and meet women?

What are some good places to try And meet women, my main plan is to stick with coffee shops that I frequent, as I feel it's pretty likely that I will meet someone there with similar interests, I go to coffee shops to read and I might find someone more my type there, is this a good idea?

This might just be me, but if I see a guy at a coffee shop reading a good book I'll most likely approach him. It doesn't matter if he's sitting at his laptop or tapping away on his smart phone. It doesn't even matter what he looks like, if he's sitting there reading a good book (by good book I mean classics like Little Women, The Great Gatsby or great novels like the Da Vinci Code) I'll probably go over and strike up a conversation.

All sorts of people go into coffee shops, you'll meet all sorts of characters- they're one of my favorite places to make friends.

I would be open to talking to a guy that I met at the coffee shop - if he looked professional and had a nice computer and gadgets etc... Most people go to coffee shops to kill time or to socialize in a public environment.

when u see a pretty one go and order something
say to the cashier Iv got it
pay for it and then ask to sit with her
