Cafeine is cafeine, whatever the source. There is one extra thing with coffee however. It contains fatty acids that are difficult to digest and to break down in the liver. That is the real reason why coffe is bad for the stomach and tea not (although it also contains cafeine)
Stay away from that garbage. Your heart will thank you.
Go for a few more carbs for energy.
Caffeine supplements are more likely to be abused than a cup of coffee.
Coffee is still gross though.
