I always see people asking these "if you could only choose one food to eat for the rest of your life..." questions here on G@G, and I always struggle with them because who can truly only eat ONE thing?
So I wanted to do a variation of this question: if you could only have 5 ingredients to work with for the rest of your life meal wise (this includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner) which ingredients would you choose?
For me I'd have to go:
Spinach Bread Cheese Chicken (assuming you can use it whole) And oranges
A little bit of everything in there yo. I could make a lot with that.
1mo Y'all can't choose composed dishes. Lol. You can only pick INGREDIENTS to MAKE dishes. XD
Breakfast : Steak sandwich with fried onions / buttered toast Lunch : Onion soup with croutons / Chicken Sandwich / Beef stew with potatoes and onion Dinner : Roast chicken and potatoes with a bread sauce / Steak and onion mash pie / steak and chips (fries) / confit chicken & potatoes with onion / Southern fried chicken using the breadcrumbs for coating / Chicken & beef shish kebabs
If it can't be microwaved and if it takes more than 30 seconds to take it out of the package and fix it first I don't eat it. Been living that way since 17 so I can't think of individual ingredients tasty enough to eat for life since I already eat microwavable junk for life, they are all in a box ready to eat already. Aka TV dinners, Hot Pockets, pizza rolls, fish sticks, etc.
