Mexican Food vs Italian Food? Which do you prefer?

I like Mexican Mexican food better than Italian Italian food, but I like American "Italian food" better than American "Mexican food".
Oh, and, "hard tacos" were invented by a white guy in California, whose last name was Bell (and who thus founded Taco Bell). Just thought I'd toss that in there.
Also, Japanese "Italian food" is basically the greatest thing ever.
These are my sentiments exactly! Luckily for you there are probably some amazing real mexican restaurants close by.
@TuMeManques I have eaten at zero sit-down Mexican restaurants in the LA area, because my father's kitchen is available and he *loves* cooking. <3 <3 <3
We have a couple fav Colombian places, which remind me of the food back when I lived in Medellín.
Houston had a bunch of kick-ass Tex-Mex spots, and a couple awesome and very authentic Oaxaqueña and Michoacana Mexican places.
I prefer Italian food over Mexican food, because I love the flavoring and all the cheese that they put in Italian food. I don't hate Mexican food, but I don't really care for all the meat they put inside the food. Plus Italian food just seems fancier to me. Chinese or Cajun would be my second favorite cuisine, but Italian is number one and always will be!
I suppose Italian. I do like spicier food but I really don't like peppers or beans and a lot of ingredients in Mexican food, so it's easier for me to find something Italian that I can enjoy without picking everything out of it :P
I'm going with Mexican just because it's spicy. When I cook Italian food, I always make it like a "spicy Lasagna" lol
Thanks for mh.
Sad day that Trump won :(
It's pretty good :)
I like both but Italian typically has more pasta and carbs. I can modify either for to be more keto friendly, but sometimes I just want a margarita and some enchiladas! And those warm tortilla chips and salsa! Ayyya!!! Prosecco is good too. Extra dry please.
Mexican food are too spicy for me, and I love pizza so I go for Italian

Italian food because Mexican tends to be spicy and I don't like spicy food.
Italian, hands down.
You just can't compare Mediterranean food with others, and expect a fair poll.
No matter what country, Mediterranean food will always be above; it's the best in the world.
I haven't really tried Mexican food so I'm going with Italian.
Plus my country's cuisine was very influenced by Italian cuisine because many Sicilians and other Italians lived there during the end of 19th century and first half of 20th century.
Japanese > Italian > Indian > Thai > Mexican > French > Arabic > the rest
so Italian > Mexican anytime for me, especially since I have an Italian friend who makes the best veggie Lasagne <3
I'm Mexican, so naturally I will go with Mexican food. :D
Mexican for sure 🇲🇽
Chocolate is mexican also tomatoes
Italians use a lot of tomato
Mexican is tastier too
Mexican please.
Italian food consists of so much Starchy items with cheese. I like the spicy concept and variety in Mexican food.
Italian food
It is much healthier than Mexican food
I am blessed to be part Mexican and part Italian.
I have always enjoyed both foods, but Italian food is better.
what a dick! man iv not had either in like 8 years or some shit lol... sooo tired of kimchi tho! now im fucking hungry haha
mexican of course.
I am south Asian which means I need my spice and sour food
Voted Italian because it's closest to mine - Mediteranian.
Ughhh, I like pizza and tacos so muccchhh! But imma have to say Mexican food, I love the spice and a close guy friend of mine (for now) can make a really mean taco for me!😂😜😈👌👌👌
I just don’t have a clear answer both are very good
Italian has too much cheese in all of the basic Italian food I know. Mexican all the way
As much as I love both, I'd have to go with Mexican Food.
Need that extra spice in my life. LOL
That's a tough one but I went with Italian by a (angel) hair.
Doesn't get much better than Mexican food, in this man's opinion👍🇲🇽
Someone picked the wrong region of the US to be from... ahaha.
@redeyemindtricks You ain't kidding😒 The taco trucks in New Haven suffice when I get down there for work, but beyond that it's pretty slim pickings. I made the mistake of eating a lot of Mexican food when I visited LA... a mistake in that now I have favorite food spots that are 8 hours and $700 away😭😭😭
I like Italian food but then I haven't had a lot of Mexican food.
Italian is closer to home here in Europe. That and it has been refined for more than a millenia.
