I dont like food where you have to use your imagination to make yourself believe that it has flavor. For that reason, I stay away from Italian food (for that matter, American food) as much as I can.
What are typical Turkish foods? I kinda just know doner kebab and... doner kebab. (And a bunch of foods from that part of the world that I don't really know whether they are specifically Turkish)
I've actually eaten baklava in Istanbul before. I remember that specifically because it was the first time I ever tried baklava. Not really my thing -- I actually don't like flaky/pastry things either ahah. (besides not liking sweet things)
I don't specifically remember the rest of the food I ate there -- I was only there for 3 days, and this was almost 20 years ago -- but, I remember lots of good seasoned meat dishes, in particular.
Fajitas, burritos, fried taquitos, chimichangas, hard tacos, nachos, and chili con carne are all originally from California, Arizona, and/or Texas.
And spaghetti with meatballs, baked ziti, marinara sauce (unless with shellfish and/or olives in it), chicken parmigiana, fettuccine alfredo, and sausage+peppers are as American as tipping waiters and not having maternity leave.
Weeeeelll... as a tiebreaker, here's one of the sketchy things they eat in Sardinia. (my bad, I thought it was from Sicily -- ehh they're pretty close to each other)

Peh Mexican and italian? I vote for Turkish even if there is no option. WE have the most delicious foods not them.. hah 😎
But I still prefer Taco over most of Italian foods.

Uff damn, you made me eat all of these right now :D
Ahh that stuff all looks delicious (except maybe the baklava, I'm not much into sweet stuff). Thanks!
(and Mexican tacos are the soft ones, by the way... hard taco shells are from the US)
@redeyemindtricks Well I don't eat much sweet too, but u would eat Baklava really ;) its my favorite dessert actually.

Italian will always be my favorite!
Love Italy and everything about it.
Nothing and I mean nothing, beats real Mexican. Taco bell, isn't Mexican and doesn't count by the way. Mexican all the way.
Taco Bell = white people mexican food. :p
Mexican food is more delicious, but less healthy.
I prefer healthiness over taste, I voted Italian.
They're the same health wise. Mexicans just use more spices and spices aren't unhealthy. They both have cheese and carbs tho.
Mexican. I get tired of Italian if I have it too often, and that includes Italian Italian.
It's way easier to go vegan with Mexican food so I'll have to go with that <3
I like both, it's not easy to pick just one of them :P
Oo Italian 100% Mexican gives me stumich aches. God I can't spell today
I'm more for Italian food maybe because there aren't many Mexican places up here.
Man this is the most difficult question on gag. I eat more Italian but like Mexican is soooooo good.
How authentic?
If actually authentic, which regions of Mexico and/or Italy? (Sicilians eat some seriously sketchy shit...)
@redeyemindtricks uh I'm not sure lol
Well... To give you an idea...

@redeyemindtricks hmm this makes the question even more difficult.. π

For me it's Mexican food that's my favorite then it's Japanese.
both ! so hard ><
recently i've been on a pasta craze
love both indifferently but a bit more towards italian because all i know is tacos, buurritos
Huge dislike at the results.. Mexican food is infinitely better
Italian is my favorite ethnic cuisine, closely followed by Mexican.
Yesss Italiano is the shit. I mean, Iβm a pizza lover AND a pasta lover so yhhh Italiano
Mexican! I'm a fan of spices but I'm not a fan of sourness.
