  • Call me crazy but, if I'm having lunch/dinner at home or my boyfriend's, I like seasoning it with generous amounts of this peppercorn oil-like topping from Sichuan province in China. It's spicy af but it's never too intense like wasabi and whatnot.

  • I use cumin, chili powder, paprika, ginger, curry powder, turmeric and basic stuff like salt and pepper and chili flakes the most. Fresh thing I use the most are garlic and to a lesser extent cilantro.
I really want to try asasfoetida. This cook I watch on youtube uses it all the time, I wanna see if it is any good :)

  • I grow several herbs and try to use them often. I find I use Basil the most. Whether in Pasta or a pizza or mixed in with a salad or used to create pesto. in winter months I use a lot of sage. Thyme is another favorite.

  • I cook a ton of Korean food so I actually use things like red pepper powder, red pepper paste, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, curry powder, miso paste, sesame oil and seeds and soy sauce more.
But I also bake a lot and my go to there are vanilla, honey, cream of tartar actually and of course cinnamon.
For other foods I use thyme, basil, celery seeds, garlic salt, onion powder and of course sea salt and black pepper.
