if they were 'hiding' their feelings you wouldn't know they were hiding their feelings bc theyd be hidden. i.e. not evident. for all you would know they have no feelings.
the only way you can know somone feels something that they are hiding, is if they let you know they are feeling/hiding it, in whihc case they are not hiding it. they are 'sharing' it.
lots of people try to be secretive about how they feel. people not just 'men'.
some people do it bc they genuinely a not comfortable with their feelings.
others bc they are not comfortable sharing their feelings.
others bc they re taught its shameful to express yourslf.
others bc they think it is cool to pretend they dont care.
others bc they think it will make them look more attractve..
by the way anger jealousy annoyance- these are big fat feelings.
i would be very surprised if you know very many people who goes to great lengths to cover these up.
I recently began dating this guy and things were amazing, best guy I've dates. We had 5 amazing dates where we made food together and slept over and just had a amazing time. He even said he liked me and it sucked how we didn't get to spend much time togehter due to him living in another time.
After that one amazing date he began pulling away, and i have no idea why honestly. All i know is that he dated a girl for 6 years and they broke up last year, and she is with a new guy now and pregnant, and on top of it all he recently told me he isn't looking for anything serious cause he has a lot to do and doesn't have time for it.
It sucks yes, cause we had a amazing connection but is he afraid to fall in love again?

Guys often like girls and do nothing about it. Sometimes they are just naturally shy and other times they can be intimidated if the girl is extremely pretty or nice. If a guy says he "cares about you" it's almost a sure fire sign that he likes you. But don't dive face first in love with him when he says this. Guys have troubles expressing their feelings at times whether it's a friendship or if they like the girl. "I care about you" could easily mean as a friend. But you should definitely take the opportunity and hang out to see if he makes a move.
Yes we do, this is because of many reasons, many of us are taught that it is not manly to show our feelings, some peoples parents teach their kids this. Some women (I am not saying all) also tell us to man up if we show feelings so that also makes us hide them to.
Well, sometimes I just stoneface because it's simpler. I have moved quite a bit, and usually I knew about the move a few months in advance. Why get into something that is just going to be drawn out?

I read about it and says that it has something to do with their hormones and its men's nature to hide their true feelings and even themselves don't understand why.. that some of them if they show feelings or express it, they feel they are weak... and nobody wants to feel weak so maybe thats it..
All the time. Too scared, too ashamed, don't want to think about their feelings, don't want to change whatever pattern of behavior they're set on. This really applies to both genders.
Its a difficult one because guys are the "hunters" ...tell a guy too quickly that you like him and the challenge is over and he looks for some else. The right balance has to be there before each one opens up to the other. I know that if a certain girl that I like told me that she liked me, I would go out with her in an instant. Also the spark of attraction has to be there because without attraction you have nothing. Guys dont tend to mixed up minds, we are more focussed in this department. A few years back my now ex girlfriend called me up one night told me how she felt and the next day we started dating. I didn't have to consult friends, horoscopes etc...I just did it!
Yes, i used to like this very beautiful girl in one of my classes but she didn't feel the same and it was awkward after i showed her i liked.. Now there is this other girl in my class and we smile at eachother but thats how the other girl was and im just saying "fuck it" to this girl because im not interested in being let down again.. She laughs at stuff i say and tried to talk to me but in just brushing it off.
Yes. A guy can hide his feelings, due to the fact that he might've been hurt in the past. He doesn't wanna get hurt by a girl anymore, so he moves on by either locking or obliterating his feelings.
I pretty much have to because every time I do reveal having feelings the girl runs away. So to keep dating, I can't have feelings unfortunately.
Yeah it's possible. I'm a forward and honest person but I can admit that when I tell a girl I'm into her I still battle some nerves. I still do it, though!
