How to Understand Women - Just Be Logical!

How often do we actually hear men mutter "females are too complicated, too hard to understand"? Too often. Mostly girls think those men are just stupid but sometimes we really are just so hard to understand.

The reason to why we women are sometimes hard to understand is because we are complicated with all our feelings. Guys say girls play hard to get, but no, I would say we are hard to get.

The reason to why women are hard to get is that they know what we want and what they deserve. They want men to make some effort ans show us they really are interested.

More than often girls say exactly what they mean, but guys think there is a hidden meaning behind it. There is no hidden meanings, if there are they are so obvious that you can't mistake them for the opposite.

Women like to drop hints. When they aren't interested they usually try to spare guys feelings and pride by fading away and not throwing it im your face. The most common warning signs are: she doesn't have time for him, she answers shortly if at all and she avoids him in every situation.

These three are so obvious and guys do the same for us girls.

We really aren't that different, are we?

When a girl is interested she won't come up with excuses to not be around you. She won't make you feel like you are boring or uninteresting. She might try to hide the biggest excitement but she will never act cold towards you. (Unless you offend her of course)

A half promise isn't a promise and "maybe" is one of those. If a girl once says "maybe" it might mean she wants you to try more, but if she keeps saying maybe she most likely isn't interested at all.

The biggest reason why we women "play" hard to get or try to hide our feelings, is because men often tend to get scared of too much interest.

Women do not want to feel like a creep. Because we all know how it feels like when a guy is too pushy.

"Men want to hunt" is a line we women have heard way too many times. It really affects us. Makes us fear that if we show too much interest he will think we want to marry him in that place. Which of course isn't the case.

Women are actually very easy to understand if you think logically.

Women attempt to keep *harmony,* both because they tend to anyway and out of fear for their safety in some situations - a man with wounded pride can be dangerous. Therefore they aren't always as blunt as men but they're very logical in why and how they do what they do, as far as I've seen.

As for me I do both: keep emotional harmony as much as possible but when it comes to just ideas I'm happy to argue without considering harmony or feelings (though I try not to go the other way and insult intelligence etc. - I let the facts and my argument speak for themselves).

No but hard to get is different, it means she is really not thinking you are interested/worth the work if you won't make an effort. It is kinda a defence mecanism. They know better than to just show all their emotions to the man they like. It is not a game, it is just avoiding heartbreak.

I disagree, in order to understand *people* what you need isn't logic - people don't act logically, that's why they smoke, drink themselves to oblivion, overdose on drugs, slice their wrists with knives, etc etc.
What you need to understand others is the ability to perceive emotional state and have basic heuristics on what one does when they feel a certain way.

That, and you have to understand how your behavior affects others, for example if you're creeping, then obviously people will feel you are a threat and run away. You need social awareness.

I never found women hard to understand or people in general for that matter, but are many who dosent really fit into this. Certainly know and have seen many girls who like to insert hidden meanings in everything they say (Im sure guys do this too) but point is it just happens anyway. They would try to get their points across without really saying it, give hints, instead of direct insults or simply said to just avoid being direct at all.

Personally again also, I wouldn't really say women are hard to get, I think reserved people can be hard to "get". Since im more of reserved person, this is something I heard plenty too. That I seem/play hard to get, but thats never been the point or even really cross my mind. I am the way I am, I dont "hunt" for girls for example, or even make any effort really to pursue girls, lol. Why is it that it's about *them* being scared and not (at least in part) about *you* being scary? Third, if hiding your feelings gets to the point where you're 'playing hard to get' then - by your own description, isn't that obviously overshooting the mark? They rarely complain about getting too much interest, because that's not their experience. They're not experiencing just the right amount of interest either, that's why the complaint about hard to get exists at all. It sounds like more of a cop-out or something women conjure up somewhat unknowingly. Making all this seem like largely a rationalization of an instinct, not an expression of logic.

Whether or not a girl is hard to get depends on the guy. I don't think there are very many girls who are easy to get for every guy, nor are there many girls who are always hard to get. Its on a case by case basis.

For example maybe she might be exchanging nudes and hooking up with Guy A after only three dates, Guy B might have to pay and take her out for months before he gets anything, and Guy C gets a firm rejection.

In that scenario she was easy to get for guy A, hard to get for guy b and impossible to get for guy C.

If a girl seems hard to get for you or like you have to chase her, then she's probably not that attracted to you. She may settle for you but you're not the type of guy she lusts after or the type of guy she's excited to sleep with. Haha I realized you thought I was the mytake writer - and I too meant a process of reasoning. I'm saying that this reasoning takes place within the bounds of maintaining harmony. It's perfectly reasonable in my opinion - it accomplishes the goal (except when the guys don't get the hints) while keeping everyone somewhat happy/stable, ideally.

Most people these days are under a lot of pressure and have conflicted expectations for themselves.. both their own and from the society around them.. I think both sexes have difficulty handling that these days. Mostly it's a stereotype that girls are not 'logical.'

Maybe girls are accepted more when they admit they are confused?

You throw around terms like "obvious" and "if she keeps doing it", those are very imprecise and a guy can't be expected to always know what they mean exactly, not in the least because they hold different meanings with different girls.

The whole dating game is designed to be too hard for a certain percentage of guys (unless they literally get told what to do and what things mean). This is just natural selection.

Never experienced the hard to get thing. Either someone is into you or they are not. If they are it is just a matter of having fun and flirting until you're both feeling confident enough to admit it. I guess if you're going for someone who doesn't actually fancy you it might be a different story but why would you torture yourself like that?
