This goes out to every single girl out there (by single I don't mean "single", I mean each and every one of you), whether you're pretty, ugly, thin, fat, confident, awkward, friendly, mean,..., any type of girl.

I'm sure you pretty girls like to hear, especially from guys, that you look beautiful and all, even if you know it. And you're always flattered especially when it comes from your crush, or any cute guy.

As for the less pretty girls: you might not hear it very often coming from a guy, but when you do, it makes you feel very special. You might even start developing feelings towards the guy.

What both kind of girls should know is the following:

You. Are. Beautiful. No. Matter. What. Guys. Tell. You.

You don't need a guy to tell you that you look pretty in order for you to believe it.

Every girl is beautiful in her own way. Every person has a definition of beauty and it's not the same for everyone. A guy might find you attractive while another guy wouldn't. What really matters in the end is how you see yourself. You might not have the 'perfect body' or hair or face, but there is always something about you that makes you stand out from any other girl.

When a guy comes to you and compliments your eyes or any other thing, remember one thing: DO NOT BE OR APPEAR TO BE TOO FLATTERED. Don't "melt" when a guy compliments you. Don't be fooled if a guy just came up to you and used some cheesy pick-up line to get through you. Don't feel like you're weak or something. Don't let any guy get to you or affect you somehow. Cuz that's probably what he wants: for him to feel like he owns you or something.

Don't reply with "Really?" or "Awwh", just smile, cuz you already know that and you don't need HIM to remind you of that.

I hope the guys who read this won't be offended somehow cuz I know there are many of you out there who have good intentions when it comes to complimenting a girl.

So, in conclusion, find that special thing about you and hold on to it. It could be anything: a tiny detail about your appearance, your stunning hair, kindness, generosity, intelligence, style or even a talent.

YOU WILL FIND THE PERFECT GUY who's gonna want to share the rest of their lives with you. Even if you don't get approached by many guys, it does not matter. Just don't let any tiny thing that happens affect you.

Don't get me wrong, it is nice to be reminded you're beautiful and there's nothing wrong in feeling special especially when it comes from the specific guy. But too much is too much. I've seen beautiful girls being blinded by guys who make them feel flattered about themselves and just end up heartbroken from several reasons: the guy might only wanna hook up with you, he might seem he's serious about you but end up leaving you when he gets bored, etc.

And once again, no offence boys! You know we love you ( well, most of us do).

So yea.. to every girl out there, beautiful or not, you should know that you are amazing in your own special and unique way. Yes, you are. And I'm not just saying that.

Oh, and lastly but not least, KEEP SMILING! cuz that's the secret of a girl's beauty.

I dislike political correctness. The truth is many people are not physically beautiful. In fact some are downright hard on the eyes. And I think most human beings realize whether they are actually, in fact, outwardly beautiful or not, no matter what front they're putting on. She has to be top or mid-shelf herself. Be fit. Workout regularly. Have long hair, avoid glasses. Dress attractively. Develop a personality. Be feminine and learn to be sweet and funny. Don't sleep around, ever, and don't date trash. And for God's sake, remember to make eye contact and smile when you see a cute guy. It's pretty much common knowledge that men prefer long hair, and physically fit. Will there be outliers? Sure. Just as some women probably like obese guys who make minimum wage. Not only will those be few, but probably not high quality... when you make yourself attractive to the opposite sex, you increase your odds, by making as many people as possible attracted to you. If I follow a style that 70% of girls like, then I will have a way better pick of who I like vs if I follow a style that 10% of girls like.

Great take! I can't believe people can be so cruel. Some people commenting here should get off their high horses. I love how people think they can decide what is beautiful and what is not beautiful. There's no "judge" of beauty. There's no set standard of rules that dictates beauty. There's no panel of individuals blessed enough to declare if someone is beautiful or not. None of these exist. Beauty is entirely subjective and that's why there's no reason anyone should feel like they cannot be beautiful. External beauty is just one mere kind of beauty which doesn't necessarily last either. At its core beauty is who you are... what your soul looks like and the kind of person you are. Some people sure love to feel important... so important that they think it's okay for them to tell others whether they can or can't beautiful.

Some girls are too hard on themselves, and some aren't hard enough. Most girls could be attractive if they just tried (gym, clothes, makeup). Beauty isn't everything, though. There are more important things in life than getting 300 likes on your selfies.

As guys grow up, we learn to appreciate girls more for what they are rather than what they aren't. Some girls who aren't conventionally beautiful are sexy as fuck and amazing in bed. I like that the way you articulate yourself. The one underlying problem I see in all of this is where is the statistic of ugly women who attract "attractive men" whether it be in looks, wealthy, personality, or whatever because most men are shallow. I think the reason a lot of girls struggle to embrace this idea that "you're beautiful no matter what" is that rest of the world does not believe that and YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DATE ATTRACTIVE MEN. I think once these girls accept that men will always be shallow, then work can be done on their confidence, but these big ugly girls talking about how they don't care what anyone thinks... no man likes them. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution, but it seems an awful lot to ask a girl to be ok not being attractive to the opposite gender.
