Putting your dying Guinea Pig into the freezer?

DYING guinea pig not dead. I just watched this video on YouTube where a girl said she woke up during the night and couldn't see her guinea pigs etc so she went over and found one of them on their side gasping for air and going in and out of consciousness. After 2 min of filming it and trying to revive and stop the guinea pig from choking which is what she thought was happening she ended the video but in the description she said this "a few minutes after i stopped the vid i told my mom and we decided to freeze him. she said "he will fall asleep" and i said "forever?" she said "yes..." right now he is in a plastic bag surrounded by snow and we will bury him asap."

She froze her still dying Guinea Pig, I dont know how this video is still on YouTube or how she hasn't been arrested or something for animal cruelty.

What are your thoughts on this.
In my opinion it was in no way humane, and it was just sick and wrong...

I personally think he will be thawed in a thousand years and tell tales to his guinea pig friends (who have now taken over the planet, duh) tales of his suffering under the tyranny of the humans. They will make him their leader, and he will be named Overlord Tickles.

No, but if I had to die, freezing to death is apparently quite a peaceful way to go.

1. I doubt it will work. 2. I'm sure the animal doesn't like it.
You better just let it die.

It would've worked but would have been a very slow and painfully cold death, they could have just taken it to the vet to be humanely put down

Yeah, I also got guinea pigs, but we never put them into the freezer. We just brought it to the vet if it was suffering, otherwise we let them live untill they died themselves.

I have guinea pigs and I would take them to the vet, no matter the cost or time of day. At the very least I would have them on my lap so I can try and provide some comfort as they naturally die. Putting them in a bag in the freezer to die is not giving them any dignity whatsoever.

Pretty effed up...but I dont' know the most humane way to euthanize a guinea pig.

taking it to the vet and getting humanly euthanized just like any other pet, you wouldn't shove your cat or dog in the freezer if it was dying.

Personally, I'd have put it in the microwave, not the freezer...
