Why women can't be rapists?

Question

Why women can't be rapists? And why are people into "consented rape"? 

If a guy is sleep and a girl sexually molest him/rape him is this not wrong?

I hate seeing people feed the double standard.

It's certainly possible, of course! It happens, and is certainly more common than current statistics will say.

Violence against men by women is one of the most under-reported categories out there.

In one sense, people might say "He feels humiliated for being abused by someone weak", but I don't necessarily find that the case. More so, it's the idea that "women don't commit violence" that has people seeking justification for the woman's actions.

To put it simply, "Men hit women because men are jerks. Women hit men because they probably were jerks and deserved it."

I think that's part of where victim-blaming of female victims comes from, it's basically standard practice to blame men for most or all of their misfortunes, apply the golden rule and there you go.

Another thing to consider is how hard it is to be "forced to penetrate" compared to "forceably penetrated".

To be fair, rape is still mostly a women's issue. I don't think it should be treated as unique to women, of course! I've just been curious about the dynamic amongst and towards men that would make us more likely aggressors, and I'm pretty sure the dynamic I decribed above contributes heavily.

You know what ISN'T mostly a women's issue? Domestic violence. It's nearly (though not quite) 50/50. If a slight majority being women constitutes a "women's unique issue", then what about 90% of all homeless being male? Of those homeless, 80% in shelters are women. Pointing, yet again, to the idea that we treat a man's misfortunes as his own failures, and a woman's misfortunes as society's failures.

Luckily, people are cluing in to the idea. I'm starting to see more feminists include these ideas in their narratives, and I'm seeing similar themes pop up in shows as well. Not to mention the domestic violence against men PSAs. So hopefully we head in that more-inclusive direction.

But yes, women can certainly be rapists, and we shouldn't hesitate to acknowledge that.

I'll say it. I'm a victim myself. It feels dirty, wrong and traumatic. But according to United states law, it's not rape, women cannot be rapists and female-on-male sexual assault is not included in statistics on rape. In fact, some psychologists suggest that the prevalence of victims of incidents like this could be a high as one in seven males. Since the law states that in order for one to be considered a rapist, the perpetrator has to forcefully penetrance a victim against the victim's will. What it is referred to in this context is known as 'made-to-penetrate (which also sounds a little less daunting to a jury).' Many feminist groups support the terminology by attempting to make 'rapist' a title exclusive to males. However, these cases are extremely difficult to prosecute for a few reasons:
1. Many men don't report it out of fear of stigmatization.
2. Women who do commit sexual assault will most often do when the victim is in an extremely vulnerable state (e. g. exhausted or asleep).
3. Women also use many psychological tactics in tandem (e. g. 'If you don't do [insert sexual action here], I'll tell the police you raped me and not only will they not believe you, they'll believe me, because I'm a woman.').
4. Many people assume men always 'want it,' and it can be difficult to disprove in court, since a man has no autonomy over his penis and ejaculation is not proof that he didn't enjoy it.

the problem here is again that quantity nature I said. men are more accepting also less protective (not in teenage years and between minors) towards women sexually. usually they want to have more mating than women (they do not want sex, mating is associated with other feelings). they fight and try to have it, while women stand there watching them fight. and so there is this thought that when a woman following desperation or lack of control approach them 'even' in a more violating way the chance that they are more accepting (not absolutely accepting) of this approach exists.

that is why when a 19 year old boy gets molested by an older woman in a less traumatizing way he is more likely to be confused between the pleasure that he took and the violation of his will, so here naturally the urge to report and also the numbers of reports will be less. (it should not be less because the negative psychological effects will be existing afterwards)

while in a woman there is a protective instinct so that she keep herself as a keeper of the seeds safer, and also to take the quality seeds only chosen by her. so she rejects forcing very more violently.

but women do rape men, women do violate men's will in getting involved in sexual activities.

and there should be no double standards for something that happens following a lack of control on desires. men and women both mentally have the ability and should have control on it. and when there is a lack of control, there have to be no difference in consequences.

Who said they can't be? I hate seeing people feed the double standrd too. Women can definitely be rapists. Few can imagine that women can be pedophiles, rapists and abusers, but that's far from the truth. Who can suspect a female doctor, a teacher, an aunt or a mother of inflicting harm on someone? But it happens. It's just that the male victims are less vocal about it because they fear being mocked due to double standards. If people keep perpetuating myths like: "Men always want sex, so women do not really have to force themselves on men", then this will continue.

Women can be rapists it's societies perception thathat says women can not be because of the loving nature that they are suppose to have. As well society says that men are always suppose to want sex and therefore can not be raped. This is society whose perceptions say that men can not be. In reality men can say no to sex and women can rape men.

watch 40 days and 40 night it's a comedy that touches on the topic you have brought up. You see the concept of the movie is that this man is giving up sex for lent how ever during his 40 day and night challenge he meets a woman and falls in love. the last night of lent he ties himself to a bed and has asked her to come over at 12:01 on the dot and to be prepared for a sexual night. Well during his wait period for her he falls asleep still tied up and his ex who is bitter about the break up and still has the key to his apartment comes in while he is sleeping pulls his pants down and inserts him in to her as a way to break him of his vow and to mess up his relationship. Remember he was asleep and at that tied to the bed with no intention of having sex with his ex. well he wakes up in horror as he has just ejaculated in her. so in this case i say he was raped by his ex. Now there are cases where women will call a male stripper in and then hold him down tie him up and one by one tease him and have sex with him only to later try to kill him or pay him off. Is it rape is the question. Well think of it like this; rapes effects typically effect how one lives there life, ones ability to form relationships, ones ability to even psychologically understand themselves, and ones ability to mentally or in some cases physically grow as a person, and is often hand in hand with some form of assault or abuse. So if the sexual act of insertion is something not wanted and is forced upon by someone or something else and causes the damage i have stated the regardless of gender it is still rape regardless if the victim is male or female. well i hope my words can be understood and that my words can bring new perspective to a very psychologically and physically complex situation.

Women can be rapists. I think it's weird that people think a guy has to be consenting or enjoying himself to get an erection too. Is a girl who gets an orgasm while she's being raped enjoying herself? Of course not! There are ways to stimulate a guy into these things without him wanting it. Now that that's out of the way I think this type of rape is under reported even more than a man raping a woman because most people assume the average man can overpower the average woman. Most people assume that men are overwhelmingly sexually aggressive while women are sexually submissive.

OK, I'll give you an example.
I woke up with a woman sitting on top of me and demanding sex. I had no intention of banging her, and I never had. She'd agreed to stay up drinking for a while and sleep in another room. She was 19 years younger than me and 2" taller and an athletic girl. She was also crazy when she'd been drinking, and physically capable of ripping a man's dick off. If she was angry, she would stop at nothing. Anything nearby would be used a weapon, especially things solid and heavy.

When I refused her, she gave me a whack in the head and said "Fuck me!" (she's sitting on top of me, and weighs as much as me). My chances (while still naked) of getting out the door, let alone out of the house, with all body parts intact were not good.

Yes, I banged her, but I would have preferred not to. If I didn't, I might not be in such good condition today.

Women rape just as much as men: The difference is that rape is defined as being forcibly penetrated, so a woman forcing a man to penetrate is classed as sexual violence. Of course most won't take those stats seriously and will probably call me a whiner or some shit, even those who say "yeah women can rape too, the double standard is horrible". Back to square one.

Actually there have been several cases of women raping men. As well as women abusing men, even women owning men as slaves as shown when you look into history With examples such as the amazon tribes of women warriors. So this type of stuff isn't new it goes back thousands of years. As many wise men, historians and the bible have said there's nothing new under the sun.

It is indeed possible for women to rape men. Unfortunately many jurisdictions do not recognize this. For example, in my country the UK, a female-perpetrated rape is merely a 'sexual assault', in other words the same category as, for example, non-consensually slapping someone's buttocks. The law should be made equal.

Who said it's okay for a woman to rape or molest a guy? Nobody... it's just that is isn't as common. ib4 people saying women rape men just as much or even more than men rape women.

I think most people would agree a woman forcing herself on a man is wrong. The end.
But when you hear about a 16 yr old boy sleeping with a woman who is 25+, it's usually guys going "WAY TO GO BRO, UR SO LUCKY!" and women are horrified. If anyone perpetuates this BS that it's okay for women to commit statutory rape, it's men.

They can be. It's just less common. The phrasing in the law that makes a gender difference in those cases got replaced decades ago. For most states at least.
The reason it was gender specific in the first place was because the men who made the law though they were so much better than women in every aspect that there is no way a woman could ever rape a man

Most of the rapes I have read about are from women I see are occurring from the male being underage and I feel like there's this attitude where "That kid just got the ride of his life" where when it's a girl suddenly we are like "That's so horrible! He's a pervert! Lock him up!" When we see a lot of these women cases the women even try to play victim to it. Many of them are indeed using the boy's innocence. I remember one where I think the boy was suicidal or something.

Sure, it is possible if the female drugs him, threatens him, ties him up and rides him without consent or whatever - but it is nowhere nearly as common as women being forced through violence.

The double standard stems from the idea that guys would have sex with any girl if they had the opportunity, despite the fact that that is not necessarily true.

I still don't see how and adult male can be raped by an adult female. If I don't wanna have sex, I'm not gonna get hard. Yeah men can be raped, molested and sexually assaulted just like women can. But about 75-80% of rape is done by a man. The problem is it's often not acknowledge and many boys don't come forward do to fear of ridicule. It's sad but we need to stand by all of our victims

Anyone has the potential to be a rapist - men, women and everyone in between. While numbers show that women are less likely to be rapists and more likely to be victims, women have definitely raped men/boys/other women by forcing themselves on the unwilling participants.

Ow, they can be. they just need to tie you down and make you swallow viagra (leave the rest for imagination). They can also put things up your ass. So... It is not as common as rape by men because men are physically stronger (and probably social/psychological reasons), but it's still possible and it happens. I wouldn't be suprised if most men raped by women were too embarrassed to report that to the police. But is should be punished just as bad as with any male rapist...
