You're afraid of messing up, saying something silly and looking silly in front of them. You want to present your best self and then end up overanalyzing everything that you can and should or shouldn't say, your nerves get worked up, and then you end up not saying much at all. It's not so much being afraid of them, but of what they'll think of you.

I would be intimidated because in my eyes that person is great and I don't want to say anything or do anything that they may not like because then they might end up not liking me back. Just ask them questions and seem interested in what they say or they will be generally shy.

I don't know about other girls. But coming from an abusive home life, and being made fun of throught school, I have no self esteem or confidence. I'm always afraid that a guy will tell me to my face that I'm too ugly, or fat, or crazy. I just don't feel like I deserve my crushes. i always think they can do so much better than me.
Yes, I do all the time. Especially when I am first getting to know them. I stutter and start saying stupid stuff.
I have a crush on a football player we always make eye contact a few times his cheek have gotten red but I'm not certain if he blushed when he saw me
