What can I do to deal with unrequited/forbidden love?

I've never experienced this before and I've never felt this kind of pain before. I'm in love with a married man with kids... It's more painful than you think.

It's not possible to stop liking someone in an instant, I just want some self-control to lessen the pain for now. Any ideas? My heart hurts all day and night... :'(

You're infatuated, not in love. Get over it, I'm totally infatuated with the girl down the road but she's one of those "catch" girls so a guy came along and put a ring on her finger and a baby in her belly. If he's carefully and subtly encouraging you, he's an asshole and you shouldn't love him.

It may not be possible to stop liking someone, but it is possible to do the right thing. Pain or not, you know what you should do... otherwise it wouldn't hurt so much. The only thing that remains is that you do it. Walk away and don't look back.

distance yourself from the situation and the people involved. go on a trip to another country to relieve your mind of the stress and pain. it is easier to forget when you are away from the people for a long period of time
