If a girl takes like a week to reply to a text, I just reply something uninterested like 'cool' and a thumbs up and that's it. Am I right in doing so?

I'm not an ignorant person, but I think I deserve a faster response than one whole week. No one is ever that busy. So if someone can't be arsed to message me, why should I 'seem' so interested in them - even though I would like to do so. Or does it seem petty? I think to then reply back after a week or so myself is pathetic, I don't play games but at the same time I think to reply back full of enthusiasm soon after comes across as too interested. Only a selfish person would expect you to come jumping back at their call. What do you think? Just wondering.

Yes I agree, a week seriously? I had a girl do that to my friend once. It is seriously so disrespectful - there was no acknowledgement either and then she seemed to try to initiate a convo, when he asked her how she had been, she just replied haha?

Girls like that are selfish.

I think this gaming is a little silly. By all means, don't respond immediately, but respond promptly and politely. Waiting a week and then sending a one word response is hurtful and is unlikely to keep someone interested. After 24 hours, that guy is going to lose interest thinking you are just rude right?

Same applies the other way round to guys replying to girls.

Yes i understand that. I lost interest after about a day of not hearing back. But just as a matter of principle, if you read the question, i was asking if an uninterested response is appropriate, if anything to show that both parties understand the situation - "you're not interested and i don't give more than one word of a shit either". I think to wait an equal amount of time then text back, as some people sometimes suggest, gives the other person too much value, as though there even worth playing games with. There are literally 3 billion more chicks/guys in the world, why would anyone care too much for someone that can't send a text in a decent amount of time. Boy or girl. More than anything i'm just wondering what other peoples thoughts are. And i would be interested in hearing a girls point of view... For future reference... And maybe don't take a week to reply haha...
