Why do women want it both ways?

Now in 2015 men and women have equal rights so why do a lot of women still expect to be taken care of by a man financially and in a traditional sense while at the same time making their own money and not wanting to fulfil any traditional female roles? Why are they so insistent on traditions such as an expensive engagement ring and wedding but a non traditional marriage?

Most women have spent all their lives dreaming of baking cookies while children laugh running through the hallways of their Martha's Vinyard-Esque Estate. Then in the distance she hears the faint turn of the key in her front door and says in a warm tone, "Daddy's Home". Eager to relax that man and plate the meal you've been making for him since early afternoon. And in exchange that man is handsome, excited to see his wife, children and beyond affectionate. Its as if they share a fire betwern them that could burn even in the Alpes without Kerosene.

But this is not reality.

Men and women alike are out here fucking out of both drawl legs. Having children with people they won't be able to talk to, bc they were never able to talk to them. And God forbid you decide you want a relationship and your a decent woman. Meaning, you work, provide for yourself, and have sound morals and values... Now people are looking at you as if you could be crazy.

I could really take up all 2500 characters on this. But i digress.

Yes, they will expect you to treat them like queens, but at the same time they will treat you like a king. I'm done with this nonsense time for a change. Enough with the double standards, and having women basket in the benefits of being a man while not having to endure any of the negatives. That's from a fellow GaGer

We want equal treatment, opportunities, and rights. Is it too much? Who said we don't want to be taken care of anymore? We still want to feel that in as much of course as you want that! Who said we want to replace guys in whatever role they play in this society? Dude, some things cannot be change! You can't bear children!

So what do you want us to do? Approach you, ask you out, pay for dates? Okay we can do that. Do you want us to work? Earn our own money? We can do all of that! Do you want us to be the one proposing for marriage? Do/think/pay for proposals? Buy you engagement ring? Be the one to pay for the wedding? Is that what you want for us to stop whining about how fortunate we are and for you to stop questioning why we are asking for equality?

No one is saying women can't have equal rights. But two many women only want things to be equal when its to there advantage.

Women want a man to be man, and they want to be able to submit to man and feel womanly.

But I agree it doesn't make sense, because for that to happen, they can't be equal to us.

You can't go back and forth between being at that "I'm capable of running shit and can be independent" level of a man, then going back to your submissive role as a woman when you feel like it, it just doesn't work.

Some women expects to be taken care of by a man. That's also understandable since who doesn't want to be taken care of in one way or another to have a sort of security in a sense.

Some men sees great honor in the responsibility and feels the call of duty to take care of his woman. That is understandable since that's a primal nest building instinct.

Don't speak as if women in general are a collective hivemind that the loud ones speak for everyone lol
