Why do girls dress up in skimpy outfits and put on high heel pumps to go to clubs when they spend the night dancing with their friends, making out with girls, hugging, sitting down drinking, talking to their female friends, and basically shooting down majority of the guy that ask to dance with them? Can't you just do that at home, or invite your friends over and dance with each other at your house. Example:
I see women dancing with themselves and their female friends doing like this 90% of the night at clubs and ignoring/shotting down any guy that ask them to dance or converse with them. The remaining 10% of the time they all huddle together and dance with guys that look like male model/aesthetic males. What's the fucking deal?
what's wrong with it? I really don't see your point, just because you're looking to score, doesn't mean they are. My girls and I go out together almost every weekend and have fun, we like spending time with eachother dancing, drinking why the fuck should we stay at home if we feel like dressing up and going out. It's not like we dress up to get male attention, you know that right? we dress up because it feels good, to know you look good. We don't need guys to have fun and that's not me being some bitter feminist, it's the truth. I have a boyfriend who I love very much and he knows about this, he knows I go out dressed up and dance the night away with my ladies, it's really nothing to do with the guys, girl time is just very important and far more fun than dealing with drunken guys who grind on you and think you'll sleep with them just because they bought you a Cosmopolitan..

Well I personally don't go out to hook up with people. I go out with my girls to have a good time. That's not to say that I won't dance with guys. I usually do. But I also enjoy just dancing with my friends. Most (not all) guys act so entitled in clubs. Like you HAVE to dance with them. They're so pushy and that's a turnoff.
Sometimes dressing up can make you feel good, and it might be exciting to do it on a night out. Not everyone goes to a club to pick up people, they might just want to have fun and if they have more fun in skimpy outfits, then they're perfectly allowed to do that.

But to answer your question not all of us go to clubs to hook up with a guy. A lot of us just go to get out and have a good time. Why do we dress up? Because we're girls.
they do it for attention. they know guys will want them and they get off on not letting them have. I've seen plenty of groups of girls that shoot down any guy hot, cool, ugly, normal etc just cause and they werent even lesbians (i know because i knew them).
how does this equate to wanting attention? simple. like the asker said they can just go home and dance by themselves instead they go to a club which is a social place and instead of being social they just pretend no one else is there but them.

I think women are all secretly more gay for each other and are really only "attracted" to men to get them to do shit for them. Can't say I blame them, I find the female body more attractive than the average male. Try this, if you know a woman that has been to a strip club, ask her which she prefers, male or female strippers. I almost GUARANTEE she will say female.

I said "for ourselves" not "for other women". I feel better on a night out in a nice dress than I would in a pair of track bottoms and a hoodie so I dress nicely on a night out.
