Girlfriend dreamt she cheated on me with her ex?

So my girlfriend told me she dreamt of having sex with her ex. When unasked her about it she said she was fully aware that she was with me and still had sex with him in her dream. What does that mean? Significance of dreams can be reasonable sometimes. Sometimes it can mean something and sometimes it could be totally random with no reason at all. What do you guys think? Is there any meaning to this dream? She did tell me about it so she wasn't hiding it or anything.

sometimes our dreams just take us to weird places tho. i dont think it means anything. how long ago was she with him, maybe she still has some leftover feelings that aren't gone yet. OR maybe she was just thinking about him so he snuck into her dreams. i've had dreams like that before. ewww. totatally gross and i would NEVER be with him. but when you spend so much time of your life with someone sometimes they just come back to your thoughts randomly

She dated him the longest, almost 10 years. She said even if we broke up she would never go back to him

i dont think thats that uncommon. 10 years is a long time. he's been a huge part of most of her adult life.

i think she was worried and looked to you for reassurance... its a good sign as she obviously feels she is over him and can't understand why she had this dream. I get them too, they mean nothing.

i agree, When people are un-sure about things.. they generally don't talk about it or reveal it until they're confident on their stance.

Dream to me are random and doesn't mean much and she gets points for honesty however, I don't like that part where she said she knew she was with you and had sex with him.

Yeah I didn't either. She was aware what she was doing but didn't know it was a dream.

I mean she was probably at one time attracted to him right? Just like you were attracted to your exes. So it goes to say that dreaming of sex with exes isn't unreasonable. No more unreasonable as her having a sex dream with a hot celebrity. Does it mean that she has feelings for him still? Probably not. She probably told you because she felt guilty about keeping it secret, which was pretty brave of her I think. And that's coming from a guy.
