She also mentioned to me '' I'm about to shower i'll text you back after with a flushed face emoji''
Difficult to say without knowing her. But I know that some girls let deliberately slip in such a remark to see your reaction. Don't forget that it is a taboo topic in ordinary conversations. On the other hand, it has sexual relevance for some. In order to test if it may be of interest for you, a good way for her is to touch the topic casually like she did. In this case it would make a big difference for her if you take up the thread and ask her something about it, or if you just continue without relating to her remark.
Clearly, it is possible that it means just nothing. But I agree that there is something unusual about it. And no, I would not say that girls in their teens or 20s just naively mention a need to pee expecting that this will be considered "cute", let alone "babyish". Girls at that age usually would not want this, at least my experience is like that.
I'm a guy so I may be wrong, but many girls in their teens and 20s just talk about their need to pee as a sort of "aren't i cute" kind of thing. Not sexual, just babyish. I've had my daughter's girlfriends say this to me on multiple occasions. I'm certain there's nothing sexual meant, its just to be cute.
I think it probably means nothing in particular, other than sge seems be feel compfortable with you, otherwise she wouldn't mention personal stuff. Seems like she just shares with you whats on her mind that moment (need to pee) or explaining to you why she is gone for a while..
