  • A lean forward hug is friendly. When a girl leans forward and pats me on the back, it's a weak hug. They might as well just shake my hand. It seems like they're more focused on avoiding boob contact than on the hug. Like a defensive hug. I've gotten better hugs from my guy friends.

    A hug where they just go for it seems a lot more intimate. If girls give me a hug and I feel their chest, I'd assume they feel close to me and value me as a friend.
