Why do many girls LOVE attention?
In my opinion a few gals love attention due to insecurity.

I find most guys seek attention more excessively than gals and guys usually expect attention from strangers. Most gals I know complain about attention from male strangers ie calling the guy weird, creepy, stalker. While it seems males desire any kind of attention no matter how inappropriate as shown by seemingly defending cat calling and street harassment.
Gals seem to get attention regardless of whether they want it or not. Gals issue seem to be getting attention from guys they want or limiting how much attention they get. While guys seem to whine about not getting as much attention they feel entitled to.
Because we're taught that our appearance is vitally important, so if we don't receive validation we're less of a valuable human being.

Girls tend to be a lot more openly insecure so naturally, the girls who are like that will also be more thirsty for approval in the form of attention.

Insecurity, many women grew up without a father around... etc could be a lot of things
I dont love attention. Just seek it from my family-mom and dad. Its not a feminine thing.
It is true. As a girl, I love attention because it makes me feel special and beautiful.
