My girlfriend thinks she's hotter then she is... She puts down hotter Girls?

Question

First of all she gives off this attitude like all guys like her and tells me regularly how guys hit on her. This may be true when I'm not around but it seems she doesn't get attention when I am around which makes me think she's lying. Anyway she always compliments herself in a backhanded way. Like she would say how her boobs get in the way or how guys perve on her ass making it sound like a burden. 
When we are talking about a girl she always mentions how they aren't that good looking when clearly they are and she claims to hate girls who wear tons of make up when she kinda doe as well. 
I don't get why she does this. I don't even bother complimenting her now because she does it herself. She has regular bitch fights with her 'freinds' about petty things which somehow she informs me about. 
I'm just confused isn't this meant to be what 14yr old girls do not 19yr olds. I'm kinda not liking her now and make excuses to not hang out. Will she grow out of this?

Well, ok, she could just be stuck-up and, frankly, pretty bitchy by default. In that case... well, yr still in a relationship with her, are you not? SOMETHING has redeeming value, there.
Sit her down, talk to her about it. Just be honest.

VERY important: Do NOT let her tone control the conversation. In other words, avoid the temptation to act like a dick back to her, in proportion to her own pettiness... because nobody wins that one. LOL

Yep... 8 years old. 8 is too old to still throw tantrums in a retail establishment.
You'd be surprised how easy these conversations are, if you adopt that particular perspective. Easy peasy. Would you get all worked up over an 8-year-old? Didn't think so.

The other possibility -- which no one has mentioned yet (COME ON PEOPLE) -- is that she is genuinely trying to be funny, but that she just sucks, SUCKS, at being funny.

I've seen this a LOT.

That might be all it is.

If that's the case, you just have to... uh, know it, and chuckle to yrself at her expense. And mb give her some gentle guidance before bringing her around company.

probably not... it looks this is how she is. But some girls always need to put down other girls to make the insecure ass feel better. Also like she claims every guy wants her please thats what most girls say just to feel better but not even one guy notices them. I am sorry to say this but that girl sounds like a bitch.

It sounds like she has a big problem with lacking self-confidence and is over-compensating. This probably isn't going to resolve anytime soon.

That anger towards others gets very uncomfortable to be near so I understand your avoidant behavior. Be a brave guy and tell her what the real problem is. She may tell you that you are crazy and you may break up, but. . . you'll look back and be proud that you were honest with her, and if she hears this criticism a few times, maybe she will slowly begin to respond to it.

I was at lunch with a couple coworkers (females, late 20s), and at the table across from us there were some interns, one of them was just wayyy gorgeous. And my coworkers started gossiping about her, "omg she's too skinny" "she looks fake"
That shit makes me throw up inside. Completely undateable characteristic to me.
