Are quiet guys boring guys?

Some guys are just genuinly quiet. It's their inherent personality. Do you consider these types to be boring? Do you think their chances with women are diminished?

Quiet guys are generally quiet for one reason or another, so I don't think that alone determines if they're boring or not. You've gotta get to know them and see what type of person they are and what they like to do. If their interests don't match yours, that's when they're boring to you.

Some are quiet because they're shy, some are quiet because they have social anxiety, and some are quiet because they simply aren't that talkative and don't want to bring any attention to themselves.. some people are just like that.

A lot of these types of people often come out of their shells the more they get to know you and become comfortable with your presence. That's actually a lot like how I am when I've met new people in the past.

I'm one of those quiet guys in my college.

I've noticed girls sending me signals and some have put more effort in than others. One girl went to ridiculous lengths to try to get to know me and eventually she succeeded because of her determination.

I asked her what it was that drew her to me and she replied that she thought I was "mysterious" ... what ever the fck that really means I don't know. Didn't even know she had a boyfriend until many months after she eventually got to know me. I'm still shagging her though

To me - yes.

If you're always quiet with everyone and don't talk much whichever circle you're in, I'll find you boring.

However, if you're introverted in the way that you first get a feel of your surroundings before opening up, then no - not boring. If you just need to get comfortable to get out of your shell, that's fine with me.

That seems like a legit explanation but it was too simple and direct that it cannot be true.
Quiet guys are not retarded if their intention were to just sit there and being nothing they never be in situations like that in the first place.
Instead, they may try to contribute something but seeing that most people were not interested so they will never show up the next time.
It is basically how extroverts think about introverts result in what the introverts had to react.

Whichever way you wanna put it, I won't find the guy interesting, sorry.

There's awkward silence and then there's comfortable silence. If I can't connect with the guy initially, it will be awkward to be with him and therefore pointless.

No, not necessarily. Granted if he doesn't communicate or show interest in things it might get boring, or seem like he isn't interested. But being quiet from time to time is not boring. I am relatively a quiet person.

Yes, I'd rather be with an extrovert or an ambrovert.

They are a hard nut to crack, and can be boring after a while, even irritating when you're the one making all the effort and making all the moves.

depends are they just quiet when there are lots of people around or are they just quiet and dont say nothing to no body but sometimes we can be boring sometimes we can't plus the quiet guys are the most secretive and have lots of things that not to many people know of

Generally boring guys are quite cause they have nothing interesting to say and run out of things to talk about quickly. However a quite guy doesn’t always mean boring, just a more introverted personality.

The wisest people are usually very quiet, so no there is no direct correlation between being quiet and boring.
