Why do girls see me as a threat?

whenever i try to be friendly to other girls they always are so rude to me & dismissive & sometimes i hear them tlk about me & give me the evil eye so i dont even try anymore & i start drifting off to guys who are way more friendly & chill towards me & who actually genuinely like me. Why do girls feel threatened by me?

Maybe you give out weird vibes even though you say you are nice. I really don't think it has anything to do with beauty. People tend to gravitate towards beautiful people and some others are initimidated and others can be jealous. I'm a very attractive girl but honestly I don't get badly treated. I don't have a lot of girl friends i do not know why and I wish I had more girl friends, but people don't stay away from me and nor are they mean (honestly people were meaner to me before I started getting attractive). So maybe they could be jealous or others could actually have heard something about you or maybe there just is something they genuinely don't like about you. Either way you carry on with your life... and not all girls are bitches. Hang in there.

Maybe you seem fake, maybe aloof, make desperate or like you're sucking up. You said you just enrolled in a new school so give it time. Just be causal and don't try too hard. Its all about the vibe and the aura people radiate and people can read into or sense these things, but I doubt anything is wrong with you anyway. Also, its probably just those specific girls so let it be. You'll find the right clique in due time.

That was me in high school. A couple of girls hated me so much because I talked to their boyfriends, even though I had ZERO interest in them. Like none. This girl completely freaked out on me for talking to her boyfriend who happened to be one of my friends in band. She and a couple other girls ganged up on me and told me I wasn't allowed to talk to him, ever. That he had NO desire in me. Like bitch, I don't want your man. Calm the fuck down.

Then a girl in my class was watching shit go down and was like, "you know why she went up to you right? Cause you're really pretty and smart, and she's intimidated by that, cause she's not, and she's super ratchet." Lol The girl world is an evil, and wild place.

If you constantly try to outshine them then you may be seen as a threat and they just don't want you around. If you are, perhaps tone it down a little when they are around so you don't come off as it is all about me (if that is the case).

Most guys are chill around girls. Girls are way more competitive and you may just be seeing how competitive they can be.

Probably because you score really high on the attractiveness scale and they're intimated by it and jealous. I take a phsycology class in school and that's usually what it is. People usually hate you for either of 3 reasons, they're jealous of you, they hate themselves, or they see you as a threat.
