i only wear pads but not tampons when I'm on my period for religious reasons. I never used a mirror to look down there.

okay! So, personally, I've never used a mirror, either, but I use tampons.
Anyway, it's not /abnormal/, but you've got a period, so you have a vaginal hole, of course. It's there. Personally, it'll be easiest to find, essentially, by fingering your vagina [with clean hands] until you find it; while your urethra [a tiny hole you /wont/ be able to find] is sort of near the front of your body, your vagina is going to be farther back.
BEFORE YOU ASK: I'm transgender. I have a vagina. I'm a guy. Just hope this helped; bc for me a mirror hasnt' really helped.

You must be super hella religious if you're going to restrict your life and limit your activities by not wearing a tampon. Like... what the heck do you do in the summer and you want to go swimming?
Get a mirror, pull up a diagram, and go figure yourself out.

Use a mirror and look. Make sure you don't have one of those weird hymens that's all closed up. Honestly I don't know what that's even like because I didn't have that problem. I guess I'd also recommend sliding your finger from your clit downward and see if it slips right in because it should.

You need a mirror. I had to go to a swimming party in middle school and it took me 3hours to figure out how to use a tampon for first time. Yes, you need a hand mirror to help.

First time I used a tampon, I stuck it in the wrong hole.

if you're preteen-early teens then just keep trying to find it because it'll take time for you to get familiar with your body. i know i didn't understand my vag till i was about 16 years old
