So, there's this girl in my class who always looks at me but never smile or wave. I drop my pencil and reach to get it only to see her looking right at me. I know she's not looking at anyone else, since I sit at the very last seat right next to the back corner. She looks at me when I'm reading and working. I tried waving and smiling at her, thinking that she just wants to say hey. Yet, she looks at me emotionlessly. She's not smiling, not mad, just looking at me. Then, it gets even weirder. When I look at away, she does this thing where she purse her lips lightly and yeah. She just stares at me without doing anything else. Why? She doesn't do this to anyone else. She looks at me, looks away, bites her lips, rinse, repeat. Everyday only to me. Why?

Well, she IS VERY quiet in class. One time, each student was suppose to recite a poem, and she said literally six words and let someone else finish it.

jokes aside, if it makes you that uncomfortable, just ask her whats up. Dont be mean about it though. Just start by saying hi and see if the conversation goes anywhere. dont make assumptions like
"she likes me"
"she hates me"
Making those assumptions will show in the way you talk, so just talk with her like a normal person interested to talk.

At first I thought that maybe she has a thing for you, but then you mentioned she didn't give you a response when you waved at her, but she may just be shy.
