I've found through observing women and seeing females around me get played and used by fuckboys/players that they genuinely believe what ever promise was coming out their mouth, them saying they loved her or liked her to be true. I've seen teenage girls, and older women who should no better by now cry after they get played about how she though he really loved her into a pillow.
Yet, when a good men who truly wants to love and cherish a woman makes a promise to her, or says he loves her, like her and wants to be with her. Women are in doubt about his intent as if he is just saying these things just to get into her pants. Yet, women do not see the lack of fakeness in the fuckboys/player's words. Why is it women think good men who truly want to love and be with them are lying but yet genuinely believe and fall for the words of players?
Why do women believe the words of the fuckboy more so than good men?

I actually had this happen to me. It began as a date or two, then grew go what I thought would become a good relationship. talked about how much he felt I was and amazing girl and other stuff like that. We had some great sex a few times over my "dates"actually and he was just so sweet, said how much I was becoming an "important part of his life" etc. we "dated"for about two months.
Turned out he had a couple other girls he was juggling at the same time, saying similar things to him. Got a hold of his phone once and found all these text messages from other girls, Some with very erotic content. Didn't know the girls so couldn't say anything
When I confronted him about it angrily, he shied away and he had fun with me but didn't want to commit at all, just casual fun. Then just disappeared Met him at a bar. A real douchbag. What's sad is he wasn't the only one.
The fuckboys.. like him seem to exude more confidence (or in his case some cockiness) instead of the shy "good guys". I fell for it.
"Nice guys" just cannot seem to get their courage up and don't approach, so it feels like they have no interest.

Well lets see players, are versed in dealing with women, with saying all the right things, will creating a utopian illusion that girls want to eat up and believe. They are very good manipulators- whether its playing hard to get or making a girl feel like she is the only one 1 day, and that she isn't so the next... the mystery is alluring. While regular men who are good, may have a lack of experience, and may just want to be with that girl and chase her down and throw all their cards into the basket, which some women may find desperate and not attractive.
Maybe those that do just don't find it odd that they hear exactly what they want to hear. It's stupid, I know. All people should be doubted until proven otherwise. But, of course, trust your instincts. Women fail to trust their intuition a lot of the time - that's when they get in trouble.
its because the guys thst dont respect women have a game plan that makes them naive and think other guys with good intentions look bad. then the girl has sex with any guy who acts like an ass hole faster than with the guy who wants a relationship.
you can say all you want about girls being manipulative but guys have been doing it longer and have stepped there game up to ruin it for guys who dont play stupid teen games. and it some times carries over into there 20's and 30's women are just not as perceptive on which guy is good for them. and there are enough women in abusive relationships to attest to this.
You have to figure that fuckboys and buttfuckboys (IE: twinks) are just good at lying and making a woman or twink feel sexy and desireable. CocksuckQueens and lick-em-an-run-lezzes are probably the same way. It's what they do.
Women tend to believe the words of fuckboys more often than good men because the good men seem to speak up only after they've been rejected. If you can even call it rejection, seeing as how most of the stories we hear from 'nice guys' on GaG tend to rely on them having formed lustful fantasies of being perfectly matched with women all in their head, yet never actually approached said-women.
To quote Stephen Chbosky, we accept the love that we think we deserve. People who are taken in by that kind of person fundamentally do not believe that they deserve to be loved or treated properly and with respect. So, they find people who can't ever love them.
The same reason so many decent guys get done in by scheming, manipulative women. If they weren't good at what they were doing, they wouldn't be successful.
Others have personal baggage from childhood that leads them into troubled relationships again and again.
There are tons of nice, well adjusted people out there, though. Look for them instead of beating your head against the wall that "all women love bad men." You see what you focus on.
The thrill of the chase? What's fun in just getting what you want straight off. Take a predator getting food, what fun is it if your food just sits there and let's you - the thrill of the chase, they don't want us so we want them. I have no idea why.
Fuckboys are edgy. If we could find a good man who has that edgy side that would be perfect. But men are either ''good'' and boring or bad an exciting. We all want a good exciting man.
@Oram52 A guy who makes you feel something. You feel passion towards that guy.. He makes you feel desired... like a woman. A guy who doesn't think too much about what he should say or not. He is confident, a little cheeky.
Because Fuckboys are charming and you want to believe that everything they are telling you. In my past experience I will fall for what he is saying because I believe that there is more than sex on table be looked for by the guy.
That explains why Hitler was a fuck boy. He charmed all of Germany into following him, then they found out he was a fuck boy when the Russians were messing around with them. Well, I now know why history repeats itself.
There is some truth to what you're saying. I see it all the time: intelligent, independent women who simply prefer to get a man who can't outsmart them or make them feel vulnerable. These women actually don't like it when a man pursues them outside of their control. The men they choose are usually a bit simpler than the women themselves and the women may let them believe they are successful players while the women don't believe a word out of their mouths and just use them for companionship. In these cases it would look like the woman is getting played by a douchebag fuckboy but it's the other way around.
