So i hear on gag and in real life that if a guy doesn't check off all the things on her checklist. Most girls would rather be single for life than be in a relationship. So for example a woman with their height requirement meets a great guy but he's below 6'0. Next. She would rather stay single than date him. You check off all the things on her list but you happen to be black and she only wants white guys. Next. You make less than her but checkoff everything on her list. Next. You have hazel eyes but she likes guys with blue eyes. Next. You got acne scars on your face but checkoff everything else on her list.
And basically they continue like this until all their eggs are gone then a lot of them turn into crazy cat ladies.

I think on the contrary, loads of women have the opposite problem... they are afraid of being alone or not getting married and doing all the cute things they think others are doing, so they stay with guys who really don't tick off the important things on their checklist but perhaps some of them, so they're not necessarily super miserable, but they know in their gut deep down that it's not enough to ever be truly happpy-and there could be a guy out there who would be better suited to them, but they stay with this guy or keep getting back with the ex or the on and off again boyfriend. For example, I stayed with a guy for 4 years and he was never quite as affectionate as I felt like I needed from someone in a partner, going 3 months without saying I love you to me, only cuddling because I liked it and he had no interest or desire for it, whipping out his mobile straight after sex. And I truly loved him, but I knew I couldn't spend the rest of my life like that and feel really happy or loved. One of my single guy friends reckon half the women he's met are usually winding up with loser boyfriends or going back to exes they aren't content with and thats why he is single-cause none of them are brave enough to go wing it out there.
Not stupid. I am single cause i have my principles while choosing a partner. I do not have a checklist and i do not say : wait, he has a blue eyes but he is not blond or something like that. I just want a man aside me, who is intelligent, handsome and few other things. I am single but I am not gonna get a one of those cat ladies xD Instead of that, man who will be my partner, will be the best for me and i'll be the best for him. To be a desired man it is not enough to have a penis. And tbh men are no less selective than women. That's not bad at all, it means you know your value.

I think it's stupid when people have a huge laundry list of superficial standards and nit picky things. Standards are fine, when they are things like "He must have goals", "He's gotta be respectful". It's when it gets into "He must drive a BMW", "Must have a super high paying job". While they don't have any of those things.
I think standards can be great, and I think that there should be some wiggle room, because no one is going to be 100 percent perfect. But you need to know where to wiggle on standards and when to not wiggle.
Most girls have been filled so full of shit by their parents and friends that they have unrealistic notions of their value in the dating market. Most of the 'list' girls do remain alone when that perfect guy doesn't materialize to cater to their fat asses. But most girls eventually learn that they're compromise choices, too, at least they do when they gain some perspective on life.
I think it goes both ways. I agree someone shouldn't be with just anyone because they don't want to be alone (a bad relationship) but also realize that nobody is perfect and relationships take work. I would rather be single as well (and currently am) then be in a relationship that's not right for me.
I do this but it never works out. Guys really don't show much interest in me. I am not attractive. I very rarely get asked out, so if a guy does ask me out, I say yes. Even if I am not attracted to him, I'll still say yes. I feel that I can't say no to a guy I am not attracted to since I am not attractive. I feel like I am obligated to say yes. Even if I don't get along with him, I'll still say yes. Any time I've been in a relationship with a guy that I don't like, we are both really miserable. I don't dump them, it's usually me who gets dumped. I stick around because I don't want to hurt them, but they end up getting insulted by this.
So maybe those girls have the right idea. Most people tell me I shouldn't settle because it's not fair to him or me, but I do it anyway.
I don't necessarily have a "bucket list" for guys or girls. There are certain traits that I like though, funny, smart, "a complete idiot" like said above lol. Someone that accepts me. But I'm not picky about men. There are a lot of nice guys out there, it's just a matter of finding the "right" guy.
Die alone? Well, you're born alone, so I don't see the big deal. I look at it this way, if it's meant to be than its meant to be. You shouldn't put your self-worth into a relationship more than you put into your self. If you ask me, more guys are like that than women. In my family, most of my uncles are single, over my aunts who are all married with children.
Unfortunately, the majority of men don't check a single item on any girls list. I know there are a lot of low - mediocre women out there who think they are a princess and have ridiculous expectations for what they can offer, but for high value women dating is even more hell. Before online dating I wasn't even aware how many 167cm tall fat ugly bold single dad without job and driver licence are out there just looking for casual sex... I would date down but eves time I compromise on height, looks, overall financial stability it turns out to be another guy that just lied on his profile that he wants something serious and in fact just wants sex. Low value men and men that just use women for sex and dispose them after it ruined dating for everyone. Why can low value men not just date in their league? Even when you block them they crate new profiles to like and harass you again. Unable to accept that they are not even the D category but Z. I rather die as a single A then settle down for a Z
Personally I think it's stupid of this superficial crap u gotta be this or that honestly men have feelings 2 everyone deserves at least a chance 2 prove themselves weather it's a hangout or a date instead ur left in the dark and u find out they're taking by someone else and getting pregnant and then saying 2 yourself "what the f***!!!" 4 a long while and it doesn't happen once but twice u ask 4 a hangout an u try 2 be understanding but the problem is that they would rather die than be with u and everyone tells u ur going 2 meet someone god knows how many times when it's never going 2 happen and u keep wondering 2 yourself "what's the point?".
Its stupid. But like they say people do stupid things when theyre scared thinking illogically. Sometimes i impulsively convince myself of this as my LDR is often hard but then i come around and tell myself to stop running and to chase and even go as far as to stalk to show him i care and im crazy about him. (Literally) lol. But yeah these are passing doubts and negativity that sometimes cloud my judgement. .. For me at least. but i know i dont really mean it.
Its tricky because some people have actual decent things on their list. Not superficial things like looks but personality wise.
So if your talking lists in general its not stupid because personality conflicts can be a major issue. But if your talking a looks list then yes those woman are stupid

I think the point being brought up here is too many people live in a fairy tale world thinking that they are going to "have it all" and a perfect partner when reality is we aren't all going to get everything we want in a partner.
Why be an anal perfectionist and not get your head out of your ass and be practical.
If you are a basic bitch and you want to marry a guy like Chris Hemsworth or who looks like him then your going to have to step your game up and work and no giving out sex and putting on the best girlfriend act isn't enough.
Yes. They are narcissistic and it's insane. Who could blame them though? We live in a gynocentric society that tells them they're all special and deserving of the best men available although that's clearly not the case. And men are the idiots who keep reinforcing it too because when they do date these women they put them on a pedastal.
It's not stupid, I think it's actually a good idea to have a "checklist". Not everybody has dumb requirements like the ones you describe. I should also remind you that men are allowed to have standards too.
Are you getting at women like me, because I've said that I haven't found anyone compatible yet? I've never said that I'd like to stay single for life though.
