I noticed in our so called "equal" society some women still mooch off men (and in rare cases men do it to successful women) and they still get away with it.
Admittedly I've been suckered into paying first date expensive dinners for women who had little interest in me in the past. However I am usually very quick to pick up on this crappy behavior and won't hesitate to cut them off. I make decent money and I have radar for freeloaders (gold diggers is too "nice" of term... I say call it like it is). However I've seen other men who are more successful, older and experienced then me get roped and doped by women for extended periods of time. My mother in law (brother's mother) hasn't worked a day in her life and has been married to three different men, two of them who are very wealthy. She's not attractive at all. I really don't know how the hell she pulls it off other than her manipulative behavior.
I am currently dating a beautiful 21 year old girl and she is not like this AT ALL. She's happy to cook me dinners, sometimes split dinners, surprise me with gifts. She's in college and doesn't have much money and yet she still offers to help. I don't mind spoiling her occasionally because I KNOW she isn't expecting it.
Are some guys really that stupid and/or lonely? Or do they want to be in COMPLETE control of the relationship because they have the money/power? I wonder why this crap still goes on. Funny you never hear a peep from feminists about this bs.
