Do girls remember the guy they have rejected before?

Actually I had got rejected by a girl an year ago... after that I cutoff all contacts with her... few days back I saw her whatsapp status which read 'the world is not as straight as you think' ... she never updated her whatsapp status ever b4. Would she mean to say something to me? I think so bcoz we both have a mutual friend (also a girl) who is still in contact with me... this friend also always tries to make me remember her. It always makes me to question myself Do girls remember the guy they rejected? Do they ever feel anything for that guy?

Yeah we do feel something for the person we rejected. Which is, guilt, sadness and.. pain of some sort.
We ask our selves rethorical questions like; does he hate me now? Will he ever talk to me again?
But-- i doubt anyone remembers the person they rejected a year ago, i would have already forgot about it and moved on with life.
And just because she writes something on her social madia doesn't mean its about you, just forget about it.

After that there will be a lot of thinking..
Maybe i shouldn't have rejected him, i should've gave him a chance.
And then we might think we like you as well after rejecting but can't say anything -- anyway. I can't really explain, i just wanted you to know that we are people with feelings. Not an emotionless robots.

i know they have feelings. its just why don't they accept if they are single? Rather than keep thinking to themselves what if? It just makes no sense. I've been rejected my whole life and don't see it ever changing, no matter what i wore, how i did my hair, my approach, the answer never changed

@ProfessorScrewEyes We don't "keep wondering" we might think it a couple of times, but we don't dwell on it, or necessarily regret it. There is no desire to go back.

There is a girl out there for you, but it's been a year. This girl isn't her.

Also most of the times I have heard that girls friendzone the good guys and have relationships with creepy guys and advise the good ones that they have feelings.

Girls don't like creepy guys.
There are girls who prefer the whole bad boy thing and I used to be one of them. My partner now though is the sweetest guy in the world. He was so shy when I met him.
It's not about type, not really. It all comes down to who you click with.

I think you've read to much into this, dude. That's what people do when they like someone - they see what they want to see and look for any "clues" even when they're not there.
What she wrote sounds more about her own life than anything to do with you.

Sometime girls can wonder if they were to hasty, but generally not, no.
