Guys, what is a 'boring girl' for you?

Yeah, just curious what do girls do to make them boring? What do they do that make you lose interest in her?

If she never starts conversations, or if I'm the one that has to lead the conversation all the time (like she barely has anything to add)... I mean like seriously, I don't care if they talk to me all day about what's on their mind. I think that's wonderful, actually. I'll comment on it and might even take it somewhere else. But some girls can't even do that.

Or if she never tries making me laugh, or even smile. Like EVER... that's so stressful. ~__~ If she relies on me to do everything ALL the time, if I'm the one that always has to come up with suggestions... that's boring. Those are the main reasons I lose interest in girls most of the time.

What if she is shy..some girls take a while to come out or w/e it isholding them back.

i guess I'm asking can you tell the difference between a girl that does not care, & one who just needs time to open up?

i was involved witha guy that got mad caude he said I never talked to him, but I am very oiutgoing & I talk to ev eryone l,ots- and he knew that about me, partly why he intersted in me,soo whn I did not talk he thought ut ws him

Him, but paradox was I could not get used to him if he thought I was ignoring him,because he was mad & stopped talking to me, & if he would not talk then I could not get used to him...but I did feel veryyyyyyyyy guilty about not talking to him...i did not know what to do....how long would you give her :)

Shyness isn't a problem. Shyness is something else. I'm shy. What kind of person would I be if I judged others who are shy as well?

Also, I'm not talking about someone that doesn't care. I'm talking about someone who's always waiting for me to do everything. Those girls who always wait for me to text/call first. Those girls who wait at home till I plan something for them to do. I don't mind this during the first 2-3 weeks, but if she doesn't show initiative sometimes after that, I'll get bored.

It doesn't take much. Even shy girls can do it. Especially because shy people eventually open up. All they have to do, is ONE SIMPLE THING: tell me what's on their mind. Tell me what they feel like doing. Give me suggestions. Stop expecting me to always come up with things. Even shy girls can do that, especially after being together with me for over a month. Girls these days are so used to guys hitting on them, that they don't care about being interesting. Their looks do most of the job already.

Girls prefer guys to hit on them because they want to know that guys are determined to be with them and girls want to feel that they're worth it. If I meet a guy who give up the half way then I'm gone. He's not an alfa male. He's not competitive enough.

Yeah, and one more thing, girls that do not talk much are afraid that they will look stupid or annoying if the guy thinks the things they talk about are nonsense. Have you heard Miley Cyrus talk? Yeah. that's what they're trying to avoid.

You missed my point completely. I'm not complaining about guys having to be the ones who chase after the girl. I agree, that should be the guy's function. But JUST because that's the case, doesn't mean the girl gets to simply sit on her ass and watch the guy work his ass off to try and impress her, while she throws test after test on his face and watches how he handles it. Girls like to feel that they're worth it? Well so do guys.

Also, girls expect guys to be confident, but they're afraid of saying stuff because they're worried about looking stupid? GIRL PLEASE! Not only is that silly, but it's also something you should definitely avoid in relationships. You can't be afraid to show him who you really are, even if you WILL end up looking like an idiot sometimes. If the guy doesn't like it, it's his job to point it out to the girl. It doesn't mean he's going to leave. I'd rather have a girl who tries, even if she screws up

I don't believe that there is a single girl on earth that is not amazingly beautiful and interesting on the inside - they only get boring when they sacrifice their identity to make themselves into something they think others will like. Here in Japan there's a *lot* of that kind of thing, because right now the popular thing for girls to do is be as helpless, pathetic, and high-voiced as they can, which is not who they are on the inside, and it's why they're dull as doorknobs. The minute girls lose their genuineness, they lose their charm, no matter how physically beautiful they are.

Really? that's bad yet interesting! but why would japanese girls want to be like that? can you tell me more about them?

Yes, it's terribly annoying sometimes. Girls do it for the same reason that a lot of american teens drink and do drugs - Peer pressure. I think 'pathetic' really describes it well. It's like they don't have a personality of their own, as if they're robots programmed to agree to everything you say and to be as opinion-less as possible. But this is only their exterior, once in a while, if you dig deep enough, their inner personality comes out, but they cover it up again so fast that you barely get

It's really like pulling teeth to get an opinion out of Japanese girls - which some guys like, I don't know :P But it's a challenge to really get to know people here. Once you do though, it's amazing how different and interesting people can be on the inside. sorry to digress; I hope that answers your question :)

Hmm. Interesting. Is that partly because of their culture? Maybe girls are pressured by society to be overtly submissive because that's the quality valued by Japanese guys? LOL. Asian cultures are very cruel like that. I know because I came from an Asian country. There is so much pressure on how you think, how you behave and even how you look. Guys are cruel on girls too. So thanks, that answer my question!

Well this is tricky because different people are boring to different people, all personal preference.

The thing that I find really boring is if a girl doesn't play along like if your flirting or flirt-teasing, they just show no emotion, its a complete turn off for me (i'm talking about single girls here, if she has a boyfriend then fine).

Also if they find none of your jokes interesting, even if they are bad, then do something even if you make fun of the bad joke, don't just be a robot!

One of the worst things about girls that make me lose interest in them almost instantly is if they never laugh! I like a girls laugh, makes me happy.

Also girls who act fake, I don't mind if they act like they are stuck on a maths question and want some help from you to start a conversation. I'm talking about blonde bimbos that pretend they have no clue! The ones that "oooo" and "aaaahh" and "i don't get it" at everything, just don't have time for that.
