My main thing is I want someone with some sort of ambition or goals in life. (Not someone who just lays on the couch and says 'Hand me a beer.') Women don't like *lazy* men. We like to see effort.

I grew up poor so I'm used to not having money. I mean ambition in the sense that someone doesn't just sit on their ass everyday and bitch and moan and feel sorry for themselves. My job pays very little, but I work hard and enjoy making my own $. I'd want my man to have some pride about himself and what he does. Your worth as a human being isn't determined by a paycheck.
