Well when you look at a nude female her genitals aren't right in your face as they are with males, because hers are "built in" so therefore a nude male can come across more strongly and provocative. But, a nude man is something you see a lot since most men don't care about being nude and there is a whole other acceptance for males being nude online (esp. facebook, instagram etc) Where a guy being naked is often seen as funny or humorous, where a naked girl is forbidden and would be seen as highly sexual and as her seeking attention.
There's that much nudity on Facebook and Instagram? What pages do you follow :D I disagree with you about Instagram though, in my experience, there seem to be much more Instagram pages full of semi-nude women than there are men.
@chowmain Im talking situations where guys for example post pictures of their friends where they are all naked just covering their dicks with a hand, it's fine for men but if women did it they would be beyond slut shamed and banned.

but last week when I was heading back home taking the elevator, a shirtless guy walked in - he looked as if he was too lazy to wear a shirt (our laundry room is on 1st floor), unshaven, looked a bit dirty (someone who stayed home without showering all day), was hairy, was nothing but fit, etc.
my immediate reaction was an unintentional frown.
Honestly just seeing a naked dude in a non "unsolicited"/creepy/porn way is no big deal to me unless the dude is literally a troll.
