so here's my thing, I'm a handsome chap as I've been told by a lot of people both guys and girls, I used to be nerdy and unattractive during puberty and grew into my looks.. im a shy guy more introverted. I'm confused why women seem to go out of their way to avoid eye contact, or get nervous around me. Even if I'm friendly it seems like women go out of their way to ignore me.. I know it's not my personality.. I developed one since I had a rough time in the past.. I'm not really cocky.. I'm just curious as to why women initially act aloof and all uninterested. I get looks left and right but if I approach or smile and act friendly girls my age just seem to shut down.. is it because their intimidated or what? I heard women think good looking guys are d bags and arrogant but that's not my case.. any thoughts on this is appreciated.. also here's a pic just if you're curious.
Some girls may look at you and think you're "out of their league", and the instinctive response (at least in my case) is to look away because of an almost feeling of inferiority (like, "I wish I could be with that person, but they'd never be interested in me anyway... so don't bother).
Their reactions could also mean they're shy, but not everyone's like that. So another possibility is maybe you're approaching them in a way that's intimidating them, but you say that you smile (and I rather like your smile, so I don't think that's a problem) and such, so I honestly don't know the main reason behind these girls are looking down. It could be any of the above, a combination of them, or even something else entirely.
You are a cute fellow. I'm like you, shy and an introvert. If I were to be in the same room or talk to you I would not make eye contact. I normally don't. I get nervous around good looking guys and usually stay away from them. I look from afar though lol Women know good looking guys must already have a girlfriend or are jerks. Just try to be more open and talk to them. Smile!

girls uglier than me (inside n out) get guys sooooooo easily n all I attract is the overconfident douchebags of the lot... you are lucky there aren't female version of those kids

and in tinder, I get too many likes n super likes and all they want us to sleep with me.

It's hard to say. A shy girl *will* act shy around a cute boy. But if you're getting that reaction from any girl, I'd think about what you say or your body language and what vibes/message it's putting off. It may not be a good one if you get that reaction from any girl.
I honestly have no idea. I see girls actually make eye contact with me a lot, I assumed maybe it's because they like me. But I had insecurity issues that I had to deal with so I can't even say if I look good or not. I probably do. But wouldn't girls be actually looking you in the eye if they liked you? Not trying to diss or anything just curious as to why you think this. If she's shy then most likely yes she's intimidated and that's why they act like that. I've had experience with a shy girl that liked me before, but surprisingly I was more shy than her. So I ended up being intimidated and it switched lol.
Well I'm also a good looking guy that is also shy, girls used to talk to me all the time but I've been told that I look usually look like a terrorist if you catch me on the street and that's why... I forgot what my point was but am too lazy to delete the comment... my bad
I get treated the same way, and f****** sucks. the presence of an alpha turns heads, sometimes good, sometimes bad. the worst part is that the majority of them fear you just because they don't know you. the walk of a warrior, the soul of a soldier & the mind of a champion; fuck everything else, that's all we need until we meet our wives.

You're ugly AF dude. People just say you're good looking because they want to try to make you feel better. And the only reason you get looks left and right is because people are shocked by how UGLY you are. Girls avoid you because they are creeped out by someone this ugly approaching them.
They probably just assume you're not being nice for the sake of being nice and you have other intentions. Maybe you come off as a little strong when approaching women & it makes them wary.
nah.. it's not your looks. maybe put a little more information about how you initially approach a woman and we can figure out what's really wrong lol. you look like a nice guy.
actually not so attractive , but yep experienced it 😂 ... they think you already have a gd or are way out of their league , and when you respond , they just stop talking cause you proved them wrong...
Mostly girls attract towards the good looking and strong boys I thing they compare him with his boyfriend in her mind without saying to anyone. Intimation is different thing some girls may be some not.

Some girls but not most! I am very intimidated by attractive guys, and im attractive my self well so most say.. As soon as a very attractive guy talks to me i stutter, start to stuff up my words and try avoid them, which sadly i end up coming off as rude as a snob. But if all girls ignore you maybe its your body language? Hard to say.
Not really a fuck boy but I've been to told girls assume good looking guys are arrogant. I miss a friendly guy maybe women make false initial judgements
Then it makes sense. If you have muscular body (specially if its visible from tshirt) or tall stature, people will be tended to glace/stare. Because it stands out in crowd. But not necessarily they're attracted to you. Think about this way you saw a girl wearing revealing clothes or big boobs or big ass. You will look at her, but whats the probability that you want to sleep with her
