Guys, do you truly stop dead in your tracks if you see a pretty girl?

I'm worried because when I was walking home from a walk I saw this guy working on repairs on a house. He stared at me real good, he was probably my age (25) he wasn't creepy looking though that may not matter.

Then I was driving home and he just noticed a female (me) driving and gave a stare/closer look and went "whoa!"

Then, what bothers me, is I came home and saw him at the work site at that house and he was already in his car and already leaving and when I parked my car in front of my house and I'd gotten out and walked towards my house, he was driving by and he stopped dead in his tracks and like, watched me go up the stairs. And drove away really slow. He was alone.

Is this really normal for some guys or should I continue to worry? I will always play it safe, I do suspect everyone. I'd like to not worry though.

So is this a typical way for a guy to act or is this out of line? I have seen guys act like this in groups but not alone, that's the thing. Like act in groups to be a "guy," where he was alone it makes me feel like wow is he for real? Or do I have a problem on my hands?

This is sexual harassment, but it's also a compliment. Funny how that works...

Anyways, you should probably mention him to someone you live with just to be on the safe side. If he's a creeper, the minute he finds out someone is on to him, he will likely back off.

Take a few precautions, it never hurts.

There is a big difference between looking and staring. If a guy looks at me, I take it as a compliment, if he STARES at me, I take it as he is a few nuggets short of a happy meal and needs to pick his balls up off the ground and get it together a little.

u just might be that stunning to look at lol. if you see him again after he is done working on that house then you might start suspecting he is in fact a stocker. untill then try to enjoy the fact that you can stop traffic with your looks. as the others have said ...for a guy, if he does see what he believes is a truly beautiful thing yes he will actually stop to take it in. its not that odd for a guy to stop to look at nice things lol

It's hard to enjoy a woman's looks when you on the move, for me anyway, so if the girl is insanely hot then I do stop, but she has to be pretty f***ing gorgeous to justify it. So yeah it's rare but it happens so don't worry. I think if a guy sees a girl that does that he should talk to her too

Maybe my mind sometimes does, but I don't freeze in my tracks. From what you've described, it seems like the guy was acting a little creepy. I mean, I could understand stopping work to check you out. That's something that a lot of guys do. But completely freezing and watching you until you're out of sight? That's a little weird. Keep your distance from him.
